‎Today, August 21, we commemorate the life and sacrifice of our late Martyr of Democracy, Ninoy Aquino Jr.

‎His courage and love for the Filipino people remind us that standing for what is right often requires courage, even in the face of fear and adversity.

These past few days, we have experienced severe flooding and heavy rainfall, bringing challenges to many communities. In times like these, we see true heroes—people who put others before themselves to help and save lives.

Today we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day, let us recognize the brave indigenous people who until now continue to preserve our culture, traditions, language and history so that it remains alive.

The 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 was held on July 31, 2026, at the 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙮 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 - 𝙈𝘿𝘾 𝙇𝙤𝙗𝙗𝙮, with the theme: "𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐧̃𝐨 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫."

‎The program marked the ceremonial turnover of learning resources and school support from the 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening the quality of education and promoting a more conducive learning environment for every Pasayeño learner. School officials, representatives from the Pasay City LGU, teachers, and other stakeholders attended the event to witness the turnover ceremony and express their shared dedication to educational excellence.

‎We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Emi Calixto and Councilor Luigi Calixto Rubiano—represented by Former Councilor Joey Calixto and Hon. Luigi's spokesperson—for visiting our school to personally turn over supplies intended for the students of PCNHS - MDC.

‎Every school has its own team of heroes, and that's what the 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚) is all about. More than just student officers, the SSLG serves as the 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬, representing their ideas, concerns, and aspirations while working hand in hand with the school to create meaningful programs and positive change.

‎Like every 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙡 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢💪🏻, each SSLG officer has a unique role and responsibility—to lead with 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺, serve with 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯, promote 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺, uphold 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 and 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘧𝘢𝘳𝘦, and 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦 fellow learners to become active, responsible, and empowered members of the school community.
