Like all good things, all must come to an end. After a year filled with service and volunteerism defined by the spirit of integrity and social responsibility, The ๐‘ช๐’‚๐’Ž๐’‘๐’–๐’” ๐‘ฐ๐’๐’•๐’†๐’ˆ๐’“๐’Š๐’•๐’š ๐‘ช๐’“๐’–๐’”๐’‚๐’…๐’†๐’“๐’” - ๐‘ต๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ฏ๐’Š๐’ˆ๐’‰ ๐‘ฐ๐’๐’•๐’†๐’ˆ๐’“๐’Š๐’•๐’š ๐‘ฉ๐’“๐’Š๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’…๐’† (๐‘ช๐‘ฐ๐‘ช-๐‘ต๐‘ฏ๐‘ฐ๐‘ฉ) officially closes its chapter for the school year 2025-2026.

Looking back at the eventful year of CIC-NHIB, we look back on a year that saw the launching of activities and projects that sought to bring Integrity in action. From the successful conduct of Teacher's Day Celebrations, Project HeaLight, up until the final project of Sweets & Biscuits, the organization has continuously upheld its commitment to act with integrity and with the heart to serve with empathy and responsibility.

As we close this chapter, the organization looks forward to the next chapter that awaits. A chapter continuing and enhancing the mission and vision of our organization, where the next generation of leaders take the helm and charter a new course for the organization. From the bottom of our hearts, we wish all the best to the next generation of officers and members that will champion integrity and social responsibility in more innovative and responsive ways to the times as ๐‘ฎ๐’–๐’‚๐’“๐’…๐’Š๐’‚๐’๐’” ๐’๐’‡ ๐‘ฐ๐’๐’•๐’†๐’ˆ๐’“๐’Š๐’•๐’š โš–๏ธ

On the warm afternoon of March 14, 2026, the ๐‘ช๐’‚๐’Ž๐’‘๐’–๐’” ๐‘ฐ๐’๐’•๐’†๐’ˆ๐’“๐’Š๐’•๐’š ๐‘ช๐’“๐’–๐’”๐’‚๐’…๐’†๐’“๐’” - ๐‘ต๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ฏ๐’Š๐’ˆ๐’‰ ๐‘ฐ๐’๐’•๐’†๐’ˆ๐’“๐’Š๐’•๐’š ๐‘ฉ๐’“๐’Š๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’…๐’† (๐‘ช๐‘ฐ๐‘ช-๐‘ต๐‘ฏ๐‘ฐ๐‘ฉ) successfully shared joy and motivation with people from different walks of life in the streets through the annual giving of sweets and biscuits by the officers and advisor of the organization.

๐‘ช๐’‚๐’Ž๐’‘๐’–๐’” ๐‘ฐ๐’๐’•๐’†๐’ˆ๐’“๐’Š๐’•๐’š ๐‘ช๐’“๐’–๐’”๐’‚๐’…๐’†๐’“๐’” - ๐‘ต๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ฏ๐’Š๐’ˆ๐’‰ ๐‘ฐ๐’๐’•๐’†๐’ˆ๐’“๐’Š๐’•๐’š ๐‘ฉ๐’“๐’Š๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’…๐’† (๐‘ช๐‘ฐ๐‘ช-๐‘ต๐‘ฏ๐‘ฐ๐‘ฉ) launched this project with a meet-up in Pasay City National High School at 1 pm, and officially started the project at 2 pm, walking towards Libertad to the vicinity of Pasay City Public Market. Followed by walking towards Pasay City Sports Complex, passing through the vicinity of Jose Rizal Elementary School, Philippine School for the Deaf and Blind, and Pasay City Hall. Ending with the vicinity of Cuneta Astrodome at 4 pm. Throughout the walk, CIC-NHIB handed out sweets and biscuits to the elderly, children, and hardworking people in the streets to encourage them for the day, earning smiles and happy memories during our volunteer walk and work.

This tradition of ๐‘ช๐’‚๐’Ž๐’‘๐’–๐’” ๐‘ฐ๐’๐’•๐’†๐’ˆ๐’“๐’Š๐’•๐’š ๐‘ช๐’“๐’–๐’”๐’‚๐’…๐’†๐’“๐’” - ๐‘ต๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ฏ๐’Š๐’ˆ๐’‰ ๐‘ฐ๐’๐’•๐’†๐’ˆ๐’“๐’Š๐’•๐’š ๐‘ฉ๐’“๐’Š๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’…๐’† (๐‘ช๐‘ฐ๐‘ช-๐‘ต๐‘ฏ๐‘ฐ๐‘ฉ) remained alive through the dedication and effort of the officers and volunteers who made this project a success.

Today, we commemorate the courage and unity of the Filipino people during the historic EDSA People Power Revolution. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

In a time of fear and uncertainty, millions chose bravery over silence, peace over violence, and hope over despair. EDSA became a powerful reminder that when people stand together with one purpose, real change is possible.

The spirit of democracy lives on when we choose to stand for truth, justice, and accountability. It lives on when we remain informed, when we speak up against injustice, and when we actively participate in shaping a better future for our nation.

As members of this generation, may we not only remember history but also learn from it. May we continue to be voices of integrity, defenders of freedom, and instruments of positive change in our communities.

On January 8, 2026, the ๐‚๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ˆ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐‚๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐š๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ โ€“ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ˆ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐‡๐ข๐ ๐ก ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐š๐๐ž shared light for healing and hope with the residents of Barangay 51, 53, and 54, who were affected by a fire that occurred on P. Dandan Street on January 6, 2026, staying in their evacuation center on EDSES Gym.

Powered by your generous donations, we were able to provide 85 ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž ๐›๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ฆ๐ž๐š๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐ก๐จ๐ญ ๐ฆ๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ to senior citizens and adults, as well as 44 ๐ฌ๐ฐ๐ž๐ž๐ญ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐๐š๐ฌ to the children in the evacuation center and nearby affected areas.
Together with our organization adviser and dedicated member-volunteers, the officers conducted a ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ข ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ that included ๐๐ฌ๐ฒ๐œ๐ก๐จ๐ฌ๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐’๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ ๐€๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ for the children.

Through fun and interactive games such as โ€œ๐‘ญ๐’๐’๐’๐’๐’˜ ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐‘ณ๐’†๐’‚๐’…๐’†๐’“โ€ and โ€œ๐‘ฒ๐’–๐’๐’‚๐’š ๐‘ฒ๐’‚๐’Ž๐’‚๐’š,โ€ we shared moments of joy and laughter. This was topped off with the distribution of ๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ญ ๐›๐š๐ ๐ฌ containing candies, school supplies, and a coloring activity that encouraged the children to draw their โ€œ๐‘บ๐’–๐’‘๐’†๐’“๐’‰๐’†๐’“๐’ ๐‘ด๐‘ฌ.โ€ ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™‚๏ธ

We then continued distributing the remaining loot bags, papers, and meriendas to children around the affected barangayโ€”bringing hope and joy closer to each of them, ๐’๐’๐’† ๐’”๐’Š๐’Ž๐’‘๐’๐’† ๐’š๐’†๐’• ๐’Ž๐’†๐’‚๐’๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ๐’‡๐’–๐’ ๐’ˆ๐’†๐’”๐’•๐’–๐’“๐’† ๐’‚๐’• ๐’‚ ๐’•๐’Š๐’Ž๐’†.
