In 2020, the Philippine tourism industry went to a halt almost overnight as the whole world experienced the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic; so did the face-to-face training activities. With the continued onslaught of the global pandemic threatening once again the much awaited return to normal of things, the Department of Tourism-National Capital Region (DOT-NCR) goes online once more as it launches 𝗦.𝗣.𝗔.𝗥.𝗞. 𝗟.𝗘.𝗔.𝗥.𝗡.𝗜.𝗡.𝗚. (𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻) Online 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, a complimentary effort which aims to reignite our dreams for the industry as we continue to seek the "light at the end of the tunnel".

This three-part online series intends to provide that spark of hope as we strive to drive back the industry back up to pace. With topics such as sustainability, improved service quality, and capitalizing and learning from experience, this series will inspire and motivate for a brighter, stronger and more sustainable tourism industry.
