With profound sadness, Manila Tytana Colleges informs the community of the passing of Mr. Aniceto "Chito" M. Sobrepeña, former President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

We remember Sir Chito as a principled and visionary leader whose deep commitment to service helped shape the soul and direction of the College. He believed that education carries an enduring responsibility to society. This conviction guided decisions that placed people, purpose, and impact at the very center of governance. Under his stewardship, social responsibility was not merely espoused-it was lived, expressed through policies and a culture that consistently valued service beyond self.

His passing leaves a deep void, yet his legacy endures in the values we uphold and the communities he touched. The academic community of Tytana extends its heartfelt condolences to his family and to all who were inspired and guided by his life of service.

A Mass in remembrance will be held at Tytana today, January 13, 9:00 am, Multi-Purpose Hall A.
