No to Corruption: A Call for Transparency and Accountability

Manila Tytana Colleges strongly condemns corruption in all its forms. The flood control controversy shows how corruption drains resources, turning supposed solutions into new dangers especially for vulnerable communities.

Corruption takes more than money—it strips hope, erodes trust in institutions, and robs us of the better and safer life we rightfully deserve. It is not a new issue, yet the culture of impunity persists, allowing those responsible to escape accountability. This must end now.

We demand transparency and accountability from the government. Public funds must be managed with the highest integrity. Abuse of these resources deepens inequality and sacrifices the people’s well-being for personal gain.

As an academic institution, we uphold integrity as a core value. Speaking out against corruption is part of our social responsibility—to educate our students and community, to stand against wrongdoing, and to shape leaders who act with honesty and serve with honor. We strive to build a future where our students can grow without cynicism, with integrity upheld as the standard.

We call for transparency and accountability in governance, recognizing this as the only path to safeguarding our people and securing our nation’s future.
