The full cast of Kolon, the Musical receiving notes from thesis panelist, Remus Villanueva, after their first tech run. Excited for the show on Friday, 8 May 2026 at 1800H (6:00 PM). Toi toi toi to recitalist, David Fauni, and the whole cast and crew!

The thesis recitals of the graduating batch of the Bachelor of Performing Arts will be on Friday, 8 May 2026 at the J.O.A. Theater, AIMS Tower, Pasay City in Antolohiya ng mga Anino, AIMS first Recital Festival. These performances are a result of extensive Practice as Research and will serve as their thesis defense. Ticket prices for each performance vary but you can avail of the Festival Pass at PhP 600 only and watch all three. Coffee and pastries will be served in between performances.

🎭1400H - Ang Mapipigilang Pag-Angat ni Ka Narciso Duarte by Rinjel Deo Angelo Mangahas, BPEA Theater major, is an experimental localization of Brechtian theater.

🕺1600H - Alimbukad by Angel Juliene Banzuelo, BPEA Dance Major, is a revisit to the comfort women and comfort g**s of the Japanese colonial period and a reimagining of the term, “comfort.”

🎶1800H - Kolon: The Musical by David Gabriel Fauni, BPEA Theater Major, is an original musical about unsung hero of the Philippine revolution, General Juan Castañeda.

Sa halip na karahasan, nauwi ito sa masalimuot na pag-uusap at eksplorasyon tungkol sa pangarap, trauma, at moralidad. Maililigtas ba ni Ms. Sara si Juan mula sa sarili nitong dilim, o mas lalo lamang niya itong itutulak sa bangin ng pagiging halimaw?

Abangan ang nakakakilabot ngunit mapagninilay na “Pangarap Kong Maging Serial Keller” sa entablado ng RAGASA! 🎭🌊

👥 Cast: Jian Mahinay bilang Triston at Angela Ramos bilang Aling Maria

Ang isang lalaking nagngangalang Triston ay naghahati ng karne sa kanilang bahay nang biglang bumisita ang kanilang chismosa na kapitbahay na si Aling Maria at isang hindi inaasahang pangyayari ang bumukas at natuklasan niya ang isang sikreto na kanyang tinatago sa matagal na panahon.
Abangan ang nakakagulat na “Ang Anak ni Aling Maria” sa entablado ng RAGASA! 🎭🌊
