To affirm life, for him, is to cultivate a visceral engagement with the creative energy of life so deep and strong that it overflows in feelings of extreme joy. Maaari itong politikal, etikal at religious.

— radikal ang magmahal, REACH OUT!
Inis na inis ka na? — radikal ang magmahal, TURUAN MO!
Gusto mo na patulan? — radikal ang magmahal, LAWAKAN ANG PANG-UNAWA!

Sabi nga ni Che Guevera, “The true revolutionary is guided by strong love”.

Mag-iingat kayo parati.

One of our fundamental rights to make our voices heard in the world we live in is through voting in elections. So, while we may expect that having this chance will make us feel more optimistic, powerful, and confident, but this is not necessarily the case.

With the recent presidential election last May 9, 2022, we should think about how to manage election anxiety to protect our mental health in a time of enormous tension and ambiguity – while still participating in this important process. Here are some ways the may help you deal with post-election stress:

Grabe tapos na ang exam week, TIME TO UNWIND!
YES, EAT THAT SAMGYUP! WATCH THAT EPISODE! CHECK OUT NYO NA YAN!

Opo, tumpak! Ang Theory of Operant Conditioning.

Kayo ba, anong rewards nyo sa inyong mga sarili after a stressful week?
▢ samgyup?
▢ inom?
▢ tapusin na ang tv series na pinapanood?
▢ date with friends?
▢ physical touch?
COMMENT NYO LANG!!!

“Depression is living in a body that fights to survive, with a mind that tries to die”

Duterte ang Republic Act 11036 o Mental Health Act of the Philippines.

All feelings are valid.
DEPRESSION, along with all MENTAL ILLNESSES are serious matters.
Treat all people right & end the stigma.

Are you also stressed and feeling exhausted by just looking at the piles of work and tight schedules? Maybe you should read this.

Most of us are facing a tough battle, some have an ongoing exam week, some have upcoming exams, and some are busy completing their requirements. In times like this, we experience hell week (sometimes, even a month), which drains our energy and strength. That is why we should allow ourselves to take a rest, clear our minds, and relax our nerves. As defined by the Cambridge Dictionary (2022), rest means “to (cause someone or something to) stop doing a particular activity for a period of time in order to relax and get back your strength.”

𝑆𝑜, 𝑤ℎ𝑦 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑤𝑒 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑡𝑎𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑡? We are talking about rest because we all deserve to have a peaceful mind and body after using it for a long period. It is important to take a rest because we have a functioning body that we always use. If we do not allow ourselves to rest, we are more likely to have poor health and body that may hinder us from functioning well, similar to machines that break down when they do not get rest. Resting is vital for a healthy body, as well as mind, as relaxing can give a person many benefits such as better mental health, increases concentration and memory, healthy immune system, reduces stress, improved mood, and stable metabolism (𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘵𝘰 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘵, 2021). Taking a rest heals the body of a person.

Practicing gratitude, taking deep breaths, cultivating healthy habits, and practicing sleep hygiene are just some of the helpful resting techniques that a person can do (Cherry, 2021). There are many things you can do while resting, some things may look normal because we often do them. Pang (2017) added that starting an early morning routine, walking, napping, stopping at the right time, and sleeping can help boost your productivity and creative thinking.

It is not wrong to choose to relax after having an exhausting day, so be kind to yourself. Rest if you need to, breathe from time to time, and ease your mind. Reward yourself because you did great. That way, you can also be proud of yourself for coming this far.

No one will crucify you for choosing to be better. Self-care will never be selfish. 🌸🦋
