We wrapped up our Discovery Week Showcase last May 22, 2026 (Friday) with an incredible celebration of creative expression and holistic wellness! The College of Arts and Sciences was proud to feature our very own:

🧑‍⚕️🧑‍🍳 𝗕𝗦 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀: Blending the science of healthy living with the art of delicious culinary creation, BS HNCA students organized games and insightful career talk along with their program coordinator, Ms. Marielle M. Garcia. HNCA also conducted their lecture series entitled "𝙆𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙉𝘾𝘼: 𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙩𝙤 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙮" with their invited alumni, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗕. 𝗔𝘃𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮-𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗺𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗳 𝗞𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝗿𝗸 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗼𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘀 𝗕𝗮ñ𝗼𝘀.

📽️🎭 𝗕𝗔 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Crafting powerful stories, mastering media, and amplifying voices that matter. BAComm students produced a wonderful theater act showcasing the power and impact of storytelling, with their program coordinator, Mr. Donnel Bolaños, their adviser and subject professor Dean Ofelia Mallabo-Mutas, and their writer and director, Mr. Mark Norman Boquiren.

It was a day filled with career talk experience, and media creativity. Thank you to everyone who joined us to see how CAS brings communication and wellness to life. ✨

Last May 18, 2026 (Monday) the College of Arts and Sciences kicked off discovery week by diving deep into the human behavior and exploring the world of technology. CAS showcased two of our incredible programs:

🧠 𝗕𝗦 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆: Exploring the fascinating world of the human mind, mental health, and understanding human behavior. The BS Psychology students along with their program head, Dr. Paulino C. Galvez organized creative activities and booth for our future titans.

💻 𝗕𝗦 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆: Stepping into the digital future with coding, innovation, and tech solutions, the BS Information Technology students along with their program head, Ms. Rita J. Famini led us the way and creates a unique games for our future titans.

From insightful talk to interactive tech demos, our faculty and students brought their absolute best. A huge thank to everyone who dropped by to discover how we connect mind and create innovation with our BS Psychology and BS Information Technology students.
