CONDUCT OF CLASSES (AUGUST 20, 2026)

In light of the Presentation and Public Forum for the Candidates for the Next CBSUA University President tomorrow, August 20, 2026, please be guided by the following schedule:

Morning Session: CLASSES SUSPENDED

All classes in the morning session are suspended to allow students, faculty, and staff to participate in the program at the CBSUA Atrium or via the official CBSUA Facebook livestream starting at 8:00 AM.

Afternoon Session: ONLINE ASYNCHRONOUS MODALITY

All afternoon classes will officially resume through an online asynchronous setup to ensure learning continuity.

Students are highly encouraged to tune in, engage, and participate in shaping the future leadership of our university.

Please be guided accordingly.

The Search Committee for the President of Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) formally announces the official candidates for the next University President. The aspirants are (from left to right) Douglas Angel A. Aragon II, PhD; Emerson L. Bergonio, PhD; Helen L. Madela, EdD; Ana E. Miraña, EdD; Ramona Isabel S. Ramirez, PhD; and Kristine May C. Regaspi, PhD.

Members of the CBSUA community and the public are invited to attend the Presentation and Public Forum on August 20, 2026, 8:00 AM at the CBSUA Atrium. During this event, the candidates will present their proposed Vision, Mission, and Development Goals for the institution and engage in a question-and-answer session with sectoral representatives and key stakeholders. For those unable to attend in person, the forum will be livestreamed on the official CBSUA page.

The public forum is a key part of CBSUA’s commitment to an open, inclusive, and transparent selection process. Your interest and engagement help ensure that the collective voice of the academic community helps shape the future leadership of CBSUA.

PASACAO, CAMARINES SUR — Pormal nang binuksan ng Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) Pasacao Campus ang Unang Araw ng Pasukan ngayong araw, Agosto 17, 2026, na naging mas makabuluhan dahil kasabay nitong ipinagdiwang ang opisyal na pagbubukas ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa.

Sa pangunguna ng Sentro ng Wika, Kultura at Sining (SWKS) at ng Samahang Nagpapahalaga sa Wikang Filipino, itinampok sa pampaskong programa ang Ritwal sa Pagpupugay sa Bandila, mga mensahe ng inspirasyon mula sa mga pinuno ng kampus, pagbasa ng tula, at paglalahad ng mga pampamahalaang utos at alituntunin ukol sa pagtataguyod ng wikang Filipino at pagsasalin.

Bibigyang-diin sa pagdiriwang ngayong taon ang pag-uugnay ng wikang pambansa at lokal na pamana sa makabagong teknolohiya sa ilalim ng temang:

"Wikang Filipino at mga Katutubong Wika ng Rehiyon: Instrumento ng Saliksik-wika at Maikhaing Pagpapahayag sa tulong ng AI."

Pinangunahan ni Dr. Kristine May C. Regaspi (Administrador ng Kampus), Dr. Elma A. Rosales (Punong Yunit ng Akademikong Klaster), G. Jay- Ar Nodalo (Tagapag-ugnay ng SWKS at Tagapangulo ng OSAS) ang pagbibigay ng hamon at inspirasyon sa buong pamayanan ng CBSUA para sa panibagong taon ng pag-aaral at pagpapahalaga sa ating kultura at wika.

𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 "𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔," 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐧𝐚 𝐆𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐩 𝐬𝐚 𝐂𝐁𝐒𝐔𝐀 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬

Mainit na inihanda at ibinahagi sa mga bagong mag-aaral ng Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) Pasacao Campus ang tatlong araw na Orientation Seminar (ORSEM) na may temang "SULONG 2026: One CBSUA: Shaping Globally Competitive and Socially Responsible Stateians" noong Agosto 12 hanggang 14, 2026 sa Multi-Purpose Building.

Sa pangunguna ng Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) at Supreme Student Council (SSC), nilayon ng seminar na ihanda ang mga estudyante sa pamamagitan ng komprehensibong pagtalakay sa mga akademikong alituntunin, Student Handbook, at disiplina sa loob ng pamantasan. Bukod dito, ipinalawanag din ang mga serbisyong nakalaan para sa kagalingan ng mga mag-aaral tulad ng Free Higher Education (RA 10931), mga scholarship, Guidance and Counseling, at pangkalusugang serbisyo ng Campus Infirmary.

Naging bahagi rin ng talakayan ang mahahalagang usaping panlipunan tulad ng Gender and Development (GAD), kapakanan ng seguridad sa kampus at drug awareness, kasama ang mga payo mula sa iba't ibang lider-estudyante ukol sa pakikibagay sa buhay-kolehiyo.

Pinangunahan ng pamunuan ng kampus sa pamumuno ni Campus Administrator Dr. Kristine May C. Regaspi ang pagbibigay ng gabay at inspirasyon upang masigurong handa, mulat, at matatag ang bawat Stateian sa panibagong taon ng pag-aaral at paglilingkod.

The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture proudly congratulates two of its recent graduates for being named among the Regional Finalists of the 59th Search for The Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP)–Region V.

Carla Mae P. Batangoso of Pasacao Campus graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. Meanwhile, Erlyn Ann Galang of Pili Campus earned her degree in Bachelor of Science in Biology while serving the community as a member of the Gryphon Fire Volunteer and Rescue Bicol–CBSUA Pili Chapter.

Batangoso and Galang will participate in the Regional Formation Program on August 21–23, 2026, followed by the TOSP–Bicol Regional Awarding Ceremony on August 24, 2026, both in Naga City.
