On ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ญ๐ด, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ, the Letran-Calamba and University of Camarines Norte Mechanical Engineering students took part in a plant tour organized by the ๐ฃ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ป๐ด๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ (๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ ๐) at ๐๐ฏ๐ผ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ๐, ๐๐ป๐ฐ. โ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ธ๐๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐ผ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฃ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ป, ๐๐ฎ๐ด๐๐ป๐ฎ in Calauan, Laguna.
The tour provided the students with an opportunity to learn more about the operations of a geothermal power plant and gain a better understanding of how engineering principles are applied in an actual industrial setting. Through the plant discussion and guided tour, the students explored the different processes and facilities involved in geothermal energy production.
Beyond observing the plant, the students actively participated by raising questions, sharing their curiosity, and engaging in discussions. This allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of how the principles of Mechanical Engineering are applied in an actual industrial setting.
A meaningful experience, a new perspective, and another step toward becoming future Mechanical Engineers.
