LRC MESCON PSIM 2026 was held March 19, 2026 at Lipa, Batangas, where our very own LMES officers spearheaded the Quizbee Competition. We would like to thank the LRC PSIM Program Committee for giving us this wonderful opportunity, and we hope to see you more in future events.

The LMES President Alvin C. Andes III acted as head committee and collaborated with the Vice President Neal Evan V. Aseoche in producing the quizbee questions.

Gwenn Chiestly I. Juacalla and Lyndon Armin A. Lopez were this year's PSIM LRC Quiz Masters, showing their enthusiasm through their hosting skills.

And lastly, our very own Jermaine Lyle C. Ferrer, our Technical Lead. Not only did he creatively produce the Quizbee logo, but also the presentation used in the Quizbee Questions, while also troubleshooting technical difficulties on the spot.

We hope that this activity inspires future LMES leaders and members to extend their reach, not only by improving their skills but also showing the nation that LMES is more than meets the eye.

The day has come. The fruit of your laborious journey from being a Letranite freshman wandering the halls of the campus to your rigorous and challenging path of preparing for the board exams will finally show in full color, and we, your LMES family, could not be more excited and prouder of you.

From looking for your rooms in the L-building
From stressing out which ink color is correct
From sleepless nights of memorizing formula after formula
From all the wrist pains after all that manual handwriting
And now to the final step to becoming a full pledged Mechanical Engineer, the very title we all aimed for at the start now at the grasp of your hands

𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 🧠⚙

𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒓. 𝑹𝒂𝒚𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝑺. 𝑨𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒔, a Mechanical Engineering Professor and the LMES Adviser, gave his own speech to remind everyone, especially the students, that to be an engineer, they do not have to be a genius right away, it is through continuous hard work that this dream is achieved.

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 ✨

𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒓. 𝑲𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒏 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒏, program chair of BSME, delivered a touching story of his perseverance despite carrying his own struggles, inspiring the students to be appreciative of their parents' efforts and to give it their all in their academic pursuit. His words reminded everyone that this ceremony is not only to recognize the efforts and hard work of the students, but also the endurance and strength of their parents.

𝑹𝒆𝒗. 𝑭𝒓. 𝑨𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒍 𝑻. 𝑨𝒅𝒐𝒍𝒇𝒐, 𝑶𝑷 delivered an inspiring message centered on one of the most important virtues every aspiring engineer must develop: discipline. He emphasized that beyond technical skill and intelligence, discipline shapes character, guides ethical decisions, and sustains consistency in both academic life and future professional practice, reminding students that true excellence is built through daily commitment and responsibility.

He also offered his blessings to the students, praying for their guidance, protection, and continued growth. His words encouraged them to place their studies and future careers in God’s hands, trusting that with faith, dedication, and discipline, they can become competent and responsible Mechanical Engineers.

Last December 18, 2025, the Letran Mechanical Engineering Society proudly hosted the first-ever 𝑷𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒂𝒓𝒅-𝑯𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒚 of the Mechanical Engineering program, honoring our 3rd and 4th Year students as they step closer to the profession they’ve worked so hard for. This historic event marked not only an academic achievement, but also the beginning of a meaningful tradition that recognizes perseverance, growth, and commitment to the field.

As these future Mechanical Engineers donned their pins and hard hats for the first time, they embraced the responsibility to uphold excellence, integrity, and service. A proud moment for the program, and a powerful step forward for the engineers in the making.
