📣 Kasalukuyan kaming naghahanap ng mga LGBTQ+ na indibidwal sa Pilipinas upang lumahok sa isang online survey.

🌈 Matapos sagutan ang survey, maaaring sumali ang bawat kalahok sa isang raffle na may 100 cash prizes na nagkakahalaga ng ₱600 bawat isa. Ang survey ay tumatagal nang humigit-kumulang 25–30 minuto upang makumpleto. Ganap na anonymous ang iyong mga sagot, at lahat ng impormasyong ibibigay mo ay mananatiling mahigpit na kumpidensyal.

A Gentle Reminder to Look After One Another 💞

In light of the recent tragic incidents, the LCBA Guidance and Testing Center would like to remind our school community to practice responsible and compassionate communication.

We encourage everyone to refrain from sharing sensitive, graphic, or unverified information about the incident, especially with our students and through social media. Let us be mindful that behind every news report are individuals and families who are grieving. At this time, may we choose to respect their privacy, offer our prayers, and extend our deepest sympathy to those affected.

We also recognize that hearing about incidents like this can bring feelings of fear, worry, sadness, or anxiety—not only among our students, but also among our parents, teachers, and other members of our school community.

𝑇𝑎𝑟𝑎, 𝑢𝑠𝑎𝑝 𝑡𝑎𝑦𝑜!

To our students: If you feel scared, worried, confused, or overwhelmed, please do not keep everything to yourself. Talk to someone you trust: a parent, teacher, adviser, friend, or member of the Guidance Office. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness.

To our parents and guardians: Take time to check in with your children. Ask how they are doing, listen to their concerns, and allow them to express their feelings without immediately dismissing or judging them. Sometimes, a simple “Kumusta ka?” can open the door to a much-needed conversation.

To our teachers and school personnel: We know that you may also have your own fears and concerns. Please remember to look after one another as well. You may reach out to a trusted colleague or come to the Guidance Office whenever you need someone to talk to. There is help. You are not alone.

The safety and well-being of our students is a shared responsibility. Teachers and parents must continue to go hand in hand in guiding our young people. Through open communication, cooperation, care, and vigilance, we can help create an environment where our students feel safe, heard, respected, and supported.

Let us also remember to appreciate the people who make our school community safer every day—our teachers, class advisers, parents, school personnel, and students who choose to look after one another.

Sharing graphic images or videos inflicts secondary trauma, violates privacy, and exploits tragedy.

We strongly urge the public to:

⚫ Not share graphic footage. Refrain from forwarding or posting videos and explicit images. Delete and report them immediately.

⚫ Stop the spread of rumors: Avoid posting unverified information that worsens panic and fear.

⚫ Protect victim dignity: Respect the privacy of students, teachers, and families.

Let us honor the victims by cultivating empathy, safeguarding our digital spaces, and protecting our learning communities.

We extend our concern to those who were directly affected, including the families of those who lost their lives and those who continue to recover. We hope they are met with safety, care, and compassion in the days ahead.

In responding to school violence, our focus must extend beyond the immediate incident - and beyond blame.

School violence is complex. There is rarely one cause, one explanation, or one solution. Prevention is a shared responsibility—across families, schools, communities, mental health professionals, child protection systems, institutions, and policymakers.

Prevention means strengthening protection, recognizing concerns early, supporting young people, building safer environments, and responding responsibly when violence occurs.

Our responsibility also extends to how we respond and what we share. In moments of tragedy, pause before posting or forwarding. Avoid sharing graphic photos or videos, unverified information, rumors, or speculation. Protect the privacy and dignity of students, families, and communities affected.

What we share can either contribute to further distress or help create a safer, more respectful space for recovery.
