The three-day strategic planning activity of Mindanao State UniversityโMaguindanao culminated in the crafting of its New Five-Year Development Plan (NFYDP) 2026โ2030, held on April 9โ11, 2026, at Eden Nature Park and Resort, Davao. The activity provided a structured, participatory forum to evaluate the previous five-year plan, revisit and validate the Universityโs Vision, Mission, and Core Values (VMCV), and develop a new plan aligned with current and emerging institutional needs. It also initiated the formulation of a clear branding and institutional identity, strengthening MSUโMaguindanaoโs image as an inclusive, service-oriented, and forward-looking public university.
Chancellor Bai Hejira emphasized the need to sustain momentum while recalibrating strategies to address both strengths and gaps, highlighting the importance of strengthening institutional structures and reorganizing offices for greater efficiency and alignment with the Universityโs long-term vision.
