As part of the schoolโ€™s security measures, students are strictly prohibited from bringing sharp metal objects or any items that may pose a threat to the safety and security of the school community.

Philippine Science High School โ€“ SOCCSKSARGEN Region Campus in Koronadal City (PSHS-SRC in KC), successfully conducted an Information and Education Campaign (IEC) as part of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the construction, operation and for the ongoing projects of the campus dedicated to nurturing the next generation of scientific leaders from region 12 and surrounding communities.

The campaign which was held at the Barangay Paraiso Gym and facilitated by the Environmental Management Office headed by Ruemar L. Delima (Pollution Control Officer), Luv P. Gaburno (EMO Deputy Head), and designated members Johnna Grace B. Ong Ante, Salvador T. Inocencio, Jessa S. Lebanan, and Yvon Joyce S. Gisalta. This was done to ensure that participants are aware of the presence of the campus in the vicinity, its purpose and goals, and the completed and ongoing projects to better support our scholars and the community.

Representative from the local government units, city health office, CENRO, sanitation and inspection office, barangay officials, purok leaders, residents of Barangay Paraiso actively participated, reflecting the communityโ€™s commitment to partnership with the institution and environmental stewardship.
During the campaign, participants were introduced to the objectives of the IEC, emphasizing the importance of public participation in gathering valuable questions, feedback, and concerns will be incorporated into the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).

The proposed projects and the Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) process were also presented, highlighting PSHS-SRCโ€™s Commitment to complying with environmental laws and regulations and ensuring that the campus development is carried out responsibly and sustainably.

PSHS-SRC in KC extends its sincere appreciation to all stakeholders and community members for their active participation and valuable insights during the IEC campaign.
