Dominant for 3 straight years!

A massive congratulations to Sofia Denise Saludares (Grade 5, Lucban) for an extraordinary performance at the Palarong Quezon 2026! Sofia swept the competition to capture the Gold Medal with a flawless 9/9 score—securing her spot as a Regional Meet Qualifier!

From Grade 3 all the way to Grade 5, Sofia has consistently proven what hard work, discipline, and a coachable heart can achieve: zero losses in the province across 3 full years. Her consistency at the board, paired with her dedicated training and faith, makes this milestone so well-deserved.
The journey continues to the Regionals!
All glory to God!

So proud of these players taking the podium yesterday!

Carl Lawrence Elvira
Alfred Julapon
Alexander Steven Manzano
Princess Lovelyn Coreses
Denise Romero
Krizelle Clemente
Kendra Mae Loreno
Joaquin Gabriel Borja

Seeing them hold these awards isn't just about a single victory—it’s the visible fruit of tireless hard work, consistent day-in-and-day-out training, and an unbeatable attitude. True champions are built in the quiet moments when no one is watching: choosing to listen, trusting the game plan, and submitting to the coach's guidance every step of the way.

Above all, their biggest strength lies in their faith. From gathering in prayer before stepping up to the board to giving thanks after the final handshake, they always put God at the center of their journey. Beyond the medals and trophies, watching them grow into young men and women of high character and deep faith is the greatest win of all.

All glory to God!!!

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT FOR THIS YOUNG GRANDMASTER!

A massive, heartfelt congratulations to the youngest warrior in my training pool, 6-year-old Joaquin Gabriel Borja from Camarines Norte Chung Hua, for earning a BRONZE MEDAL! 🥉♟️

At just 6 years old, stepping up to the board and outplaying opponents years older than you takes true courage, heart, and talent. While you may not have qualified for the next round this time, watching you hold your own and secure a bronze against older players was nothing short of amazing.

This is only the beginning of your journey, Joaquin! You have so many years ahead of you to rule the board and conquer the province. Keep playing, keep learning, and keep dreaming big. I couldn't be prouder of you!
