Kiddie Lab is a learning environment which offers a humanistic and holistic approach to a child's education. It has been empowering children for the past thirty years. All our children successfully enter the big schools for their elementary course. Subject to existing age policies, some of them are asked to take the qualifying exam for the next higher level and are consequently accelerated. Kiddie
Lab students are transformed into self-propelling children, with a positive attitude towards school, family and society. For them, learning is both fun and an endless discovery. Our Curriculum
Attention to learning styles, multiple intelligences, and developmental levels of students are addressed and practiced as best as we could, to reach and teach all our students effectively. Our curriculum focuses on the following areas of development:
* Physical development - This includes gross and fine motor coordination through curriculum-based, teacher-directed play and various manipulative activities and devices.
* Personal-social development - This involves the skills that promote independence in eating, dressing and toileting. It also deals with the child's ability to relate with his peers.
* Affective development - This covers the child's ability to handle his emotions and deal with them positively through sharing of experiences, story telling sessions, involvement in planning of, and participation in programs, which all effectively enhance self-esteem.
* Cognitive development - This includes sensorial and perceptual skills, and activities that develop language, reading skills, logical-mathematical ability, and science discovery skills.
* Creative-aesthetic development - This covers an appreciation of the arts and the development of a child's creativity through music, dance, and art activities.
