e community and to their neighbors. Little House Montessori was thus born - a very simple school, housed within the Vicencio family compound. A little short of three decades have passed and Little House Montessori has grown significantly. Little by little, this family run school has embarked on a journey to strengthen its curriculum, expand its physical environment, upgrade its facilities and develop its faculty and staff. The legacy left by Mr. Vicencio has flourished in the hands of their children. Now, the torch is gradually being passed on to the Vicencio grandchildren to carry on what they started. What was initially a small step became a great leap towards development and attaining its goal of enabling the Montessori children to be the best they could be. Across the years, LHMI has grown into a major pre-school and elementary school, capable of producing quality students who are able to enter the best secondary schools in the NCR. In 2002, it opened its High School department, in answer to requests from the Montessori parents. LHMI then changed its name to LH Montessori High Inc. To date LHMH has produced a big number of graduates, each of whom exemplifies the ideal Montessorian; an individual who respects life, reveres individual differences and has faith in himself and in the goodness of his fellowmen.
