PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS TO THE PRIESTHOOD AND RELIGIOUS LIFE

God our Father, we thank you for calling men and women to serve in your Kingdom as consecrated persons.

Send your Holy Spirit to help others to respond generously and courageously to your call.

May our community of faith support vocations of sacrificial love in our youth. We praise and thank you through Christ our Lord.

Our Administrator and Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, PJ Cumpas, shares his reflection on today's Gospel as we celebrate the Feast of St. John Bosco.

30/01/2025

Today, we honor St. John Bosco, whose life and teachings continue to inspire our mission at Don Bosco School of Theology. As we strive to be a leading center of theological and pastoral formation, we reflect on his directive to do everything for the glory of God, guiding our community in the spirit of our patron saint.

Let's commit to educating and nurturing the faith of the young and families, embracing our core values of fidelity to the magisterium, Salesian spirituality, and missionary discipleship. Join us in living out our motto: "We Accompany. We Grow." as we walk in the footsteps of Christ and St. John Bosco.

Celebrate with us and deepen your commitment to the New Evangelization! 🙌

St. John Bosco, pray for us.

St. Francis de Sales, a guiding light for writers and communicators, famously taught us the power of authenticity with his urging to "Be who you are and be that well."

As we celebrate his feast day, let's embrace our true selves and excel in our own unique ways. Inspired by his philosophy, Saint John Bosco founded the Society of St. Francis de Sales in 1859, promoting a spirituality rooted in kindness and simplicity.

Today, let's reflect on how embodying our true nature not only fulfills our personal vocations but also reflects our divine purpose.
