🤖 Robotics Club Activity Highlight | TechnoKids’ TechnoSmarthouse 🤖

The Robotics Club successfully conducted TechnoKids’ TechnoSmarthouse sessions last January 3 and 10, 2026 at the JHS Computer Laboratory, providing students with hands-on experience in smart home technologies and automation.

The training utilized two TechnoSmarthouse kits and followed the ten (10) modules of the TechnoKids Curriculum, each designed to introduce and demonstrate key features of an intelligent home system:

• Module 1: Learn About SmartHome
• Module 2: Intelligent Human Body Induction Lamp
• Module 3: Music Doorbell
• Module 4: Intelligent Temperature-Controlled Fan
• Module 5: Automatic Garage Door
• Module 6: Intelligent Access Control
• Module 7: Light-Controlled Automatic Window
• Module 8: Intelligent Rain-Controlled Window
• Module 9: Intelligent Smoke Alarm
• Module 10: Air Quality Detection System

Under the guidance of TK Ambassador Marvin S. Grafil (Grade 12 – Mars), club members learned how to program and operate the TechnoSmarthouse systems. Led by Marvin S. Grafil, the students successfully completed the TechnoKids' Case Study by programming the smarthouse to perform the required automated tasks based on real-life scenarios.

This activity enhanced students’ skills in coding, system automation, logical reasoning, and collaborative problem-solving, further strengthening their understanding of smart technologies and real-world applications.

Congratulations to the Robotics Club and our student leader for another successful and innovative learning experience!

Taylor Wilson is known worldwide for his early work in nuclear fusion science. As a teenager, he built a small device called a fusor, which is a type of experimental fusion machine. At just 14 years old, he successfully achieved nuclear fusion, making him one of the youngest people ever to do so. This achievement brought global attention to his work and inspired many students to explore STEM education, especially nuclear engineering and physics.

It is important to understand that Wilson did not build a commercial power reactor. His fusor did not produce usable electricity. Instead, it proved that fusion reactions could happen in a controlled lab setting. Even so, this was a major scientific milestone for a student and showed what young innovators can achieve with curiosity and hard work.

Nuclear fusion is often described as the future of clean energy. Unlike fossil fuels, fusion does not produce carbon pollution and has the potential to provide carbon-free power. Because of this, governments and companies around the world are investing heavily in clean energy technology, renewable energy, and energy infrastructure.

Taylor Wilson later founded a company focused on advanced nuclear technology and radiation detection. His work supports global safety, medical research, and long-term energy security. He has also spoken at major conferences, encouraging young people to study science and solve real-world problems.

Today, topics like nuclear fusion, clean energy investment, renewable energy markets, nuclear energy stocks, and sustainable power solutions are attracting strong interest from investors and researchers. Taylor Wilson’s story shows how early innovation can shape the future of energy technology, climate solutions, and high-impact scientific careers.
