NATIONAL RIZAL DAY 🇵🇭

Rizal Day is a holiday where we give thanks and remember the most significant literature and person who contributed into fighting for the country in his own ways. ✍🏻⭐

National Rizal Day celebrates and gives life to our National Hero, Jose Rizal, the one that led our country to freedom, independence and helping his fellow Filipinos learn and fight for their own country. 🇵🇭

This December 30th is also the anniversary of when Jose Rizal was executed at Bagumbayan in Manila after releasing his works of literature that revealed the wrong doings of those in the higher ups and the one controlling our country's system. ✒️🗒️

His ex*****on sparked the Philippine Revolution which fueled Filipinos to be set free from the colonizers and from the Spanish Rule. Despite the death of Rizal, his works remained alive in the hearts and minds of Filipinos. Which they used as a reminder to continue fighting for what Rizal has died for. ❤️‍🩹

Rizals work of literature like Noli Me Tángere and El Filibusterismo remains alive till today, being taught to students and to the youth. These works of literacy and lessons symbolize the nationalist movement of Filipinos. 🇵🇭📝
