Maria Goes Disney: A World of Holiday Magic
Our Casa and Elementary children took us on a spectacular global journey with their Christmas program, “Maria Goes Disney.” From the elegance of China, to the mystery of the Arabian deserts, the myths of Greece, and the adventures of Neverland, our young performers transported the audience completely.
They sang and danced with pure, infectious joy, revealing hidden talents and a beautiful spirit of collaboration. The parents watched in awe, filled with pride at their children’s confidence and teamwork.
The campus was left buzzing with the warmest holiday cheer and full bellies from the Community Potluck, a true reflection of our children’s shining spirits as well as the abundant magic of the season.
Happy Holidays to all!

Last Friday, our campus was wrapped in a moment of quiet magic as we gathered for our annual Advent Ceremony. ✨
The glow of our school’s parol was lowered over a living tableau, featuring our Elementary students as gentle sheep and angels, and our AP students portraying shepherds, wise men, Mary, and Joseph.
What made this year especially beautiful was hearing our entire community lift their voices together in “Silent Night,” accompanied by one of our talented students. This special ceremony was thoughtfully coordinated by AP students, for our community.
We were deeply moved to see more parents join us this year, sharing in this brief but profound pause to reconnect with the true meaning of Advent: joyful anticipation and shared light.
Thank you for helping us hold this cherished tradition with such heart.

Within our learning community, education is a dynamic exchange that knows no bounds. At our recent Montessori Masterclass, parents stepped into the role of students, guided by our teachers to understand the foundational journey of reading, writing, and comprehension.
This spirit of shared growth continued at our Integration Workshop for Grades 9-12, where parents became mentors. They offered invaluable insights by sharing their personal pathways to success in fields like medicine, IT, filmmaking, and entrepreneurship.
These rich exchanges, where every member can be both teacher and learner, create an environment so engaging that they spark a collective desire for more. We are profoundly grateful for a community that prioritizes growth, whether by arriving with curious questions or wisdom to impart.

The images of devastation are everywhere. Back-to-back typhoons and earthquakes have left communities all over the country reeling. It’s a pain made deeper by the knowledge that systemic corruption weakens the very foundations meant to hold us up in a crisis.
But in a quiet corner of our school, we found a different story. A story of hope, built one small piece at a time.
It started with an unprompted mission. A jigsaw puzzle, left on a table. No assignments, no rewards. Just a shared goal.
And then, something beautiful happened.
Students of all ages—from the youngest in upper elementary to the seniors in high school—began stopping by our SHS classroom. Between classes, lunch breaks, and while waiting for sundo, they would gather. Animatedly but patiently, they searched for connections.
Our students demonstrated invaluable lessons on:
✨ A Shared Mission: They saw something incomplete and chose to act voluntarily.
✨ Every Piece Matters: Each student, regardless of age, brought their unique piece to the table.
✨ Collaboration is Key: They helped each other, knowing one person’s success was a win for everyone.
This is the antidote to the corruption that fails us. Corruption hoards the pieces. Collaboration completes the picture.
They finished the puzzle. They proved that a collective, voluntary spirit can build something whole from broken pieces and that the shared mission is its own profound reward.
So, what’s our call to action?
➡️ BE A PUZZLE SOLVER. In your own way, find a piece you can place. Donate, volunteer, support trusted NGOs, and check on a neighbor. No action is too small.
➡️ TRUST THE COLLECTIVE. Your piece matters. Together, we can complete a picture of a stronger, more resilient Philippines.
➡️ DEMAND BETTER. Let this be a lesson to our leaders: true strength is in building better bridges, not walls. Our future depends on it.
The road ahead need not be long; if our youth can build a complete picture in their free time, imagine what a united nation can do.

A Seed of Knowledge is Planted!
A huge thank you to one of our parents, Mr. Denison Tan, for launching a year-long herb garden project with our upper elementary students! This hands-on experience is a core part of our robust Montessori curriculum, connecting children to the land and their food.
Our young gardeners will learn urban gardening skills and use their harvest in classroom cooking activities. They’ll even explore entrepreneurship by potentially selling surplus yields!
This project is living Cosmic Education: children will witness natural laws in action, document plant growth scientifically, and develop a deep sense of responsibility as stewards of their own little ecosystem. We can’t wait to watch both the garden and our students grow!

We are thrilled to announce a historic achievement by our Montessori Senior High School students, who participated in the World Food Prize Foundation’s Global Youth Institute in Des Moines, Iowa. As the first Filipino delegation ever to attend, they represented our school and country on this prestigious global stage.
At the conference, often considered the equivalent of the Nobel Prize for food and agriculture, our students presented their research on critical issues of food security and sustainability. They engaged with leading scientists, philanthropists, and fellow innovators from around the world, gaining invaluable insights.
This incredible opportunity was made possible through the dedicated mentorship of our Adolescent Program Director, Dr. Kristine Estrera, Ms. Cristina Sison, and World Food Prize Laureate, American economist, Dr. Howarth “Howdy” Bouis, to whom we extend our deepest gratitude.
Beyond the conference hall, the students drew inspiration from a visit to the Norman Borlaug Boyhood Farm, walking in the footsteps of a hunger-fighting agricultural pioneer while enjoying the beautiful fall weather. This journey was a perfect blend of academic excellence, global connection, and personal inspiration, and we could not be prouder of their accomplishment.
