Parañaque Science High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government

𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮-𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀, 𝗧𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼 🤝💙

With hearts united in compassion and service, the SSLG Officers of 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯̃𝘢𝘲𝘶𝘦 𝘚𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘏𝘪𝘨𝘩 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 actively participated in the relief repacking activity held at Parañaque Elementary School Unit II for the victims affected by the recent fire incident in Brgy. San Antonio. Through this meaningful initiative, student leaders worked hand in hand in preparing and organizing donated goods to help extend immediate support and assistance to affected families.

From 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟗 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, donations from the ParSci community, including students, parents, and other generous donors, were collected at the ParSci Stage as part of the school’s San Antonio Donation Drive. Due to the continuous arrival of donations and overwhelming support from the community, the initiative was extended until May 14, reflecting the collective compassion and bayanihan spirit of every ParScian. We sincerely thank everyone who shared their blessings and contributed to this meaningful cause. 💙

On the morning of 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟒, the collected donations were transported to Parañaque Elementary School Unit II for repacking, sorting, and final preparation. By the afternoon, these relief goods were successfully distributed to affected families in Brgy. San Antonio turning every donation into immediate hope, comfort, and support for those in need.

Present during the repacking activity were SSLG Officers 𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐳 (SSLG President), 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐥 (SSLG Vice President), and 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐨 𝐑𝐨𝐚 (SSLG P.I.O.) together with the SSLG Adviser, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐨, who continuously guided and supported the students throughout the activity. Their dedication and willingness to serve reflect the true spirit of 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 in action.

To everyone from the ParSci community, students, parents, faculty members, and donors, who extended their help and generosity, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 for making this initiative possible This initiative serves as a reminder that even through small acts of kindness, the community can come together to bring 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭, and 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 to those in need. 💙✨

Today, we celebrate the 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 and the 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘴 𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺. On this special day, we honor everything they are and everything they have done for us.

From the very beginning of our lives, our mothers have been our 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨, our 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨, and our 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚. They guide us through every step, lift us when we fall, and understand us in ways no one else can.

Whether we’re celebrating at home or simply thinking of them from afar, this day reminds us why they mean so much — their 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 is constant, selfless, and irreplaceable.

In times of hardship, the strength of a community is seen through compassion, unity, and willingness to help. Recently, several families in 𝘓𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘺, 𝘚𝘢𝘯 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘰, 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘢ñ𝘢𝘲𝘶𝘦 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 were greatly affected by a devastating fire that damaged homes and displaced many residents.

In response to this unfortunate event, the 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 will be launching a 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 to gather essential goods and assistance for the affected families.
‎
‎Through this initiative, we aim to remind everyone that no one stands alone during difficult times. Every donation, no matter how small, can bring comfort, hope, and relief to our fellow Filipinos.

‎Let us continue to embody the spirit of 𝘣𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘩𝘢𝘯 by helping rebuild lives, one act of kindness at a time. 🤝

This 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭, we honor 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘰 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘳𝘴 across the nation by recognizing their vital role in building our communities, sustaining our economy, and shaping our future. From healthcare frontliners and educators to farmers, factory workers, and construction teams, every contribution matters.

𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆 in the Philippines, observed annually on May 1, traces its roots to the historic 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 in 𝟭𝟵𝟬𝟯, a powerful movement that called for 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘴 and 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴. More than just a schoolmate, Kian was a 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 who became our inspiration because of his dedication in his 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴, 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘤, and 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱. He made a lasting impact through his talent, kindness, and sincerity. Today, with heavy hearts, we lost a presence that brought warmth, kindness, and meaning into our days. His presence had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and valued. And now, ParSci grieves as one, because 𝗞𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝘀.

Though he is no longer with us, we find comfort in believing he has become an angel who will continue to watch over us from above. ParSci will always be your home, Kian, where your 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦, 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘤, and 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 will never be forgotten.
