A fourth-year Computer Engineering student at Asia Pacific College and a Summa Cum Laude candidate with a 4.00 CGPA, Tobey is known for leading impactful engineering projects and initiatives that go beyond the classroom. One of these is Project ECLIPSE, a capstone project developed for the Philippine Army that was presented to the Commanding General of the Philippine Army.

Through his experiences in leadership, software engineering, and project development, he continues to inspire students to build solutions that create real-world impact.

All praises to Jesus for Shekinah’s excellent performance at the recently concluded 2026 Junior Student Convention in Manila, which was attended by over 600 delegates from 23 schools. Out of those 23 schools, Shekinah received these top awards:

🏆1st Place Overall in Academics
🏆1st Place Overall in Platform
🥈2nd Place Overall in Music
🥉3rd Place Overall in Sports

Our delegates brought home 38 awards and over 140 medals! 🙌 We are proud of our students for the hard work, dedication, and courage they demonstrated throughout the training and competition. We also deeply appreciate our parents for their unwavering support and cooperation on this journey.

As promised, we are delighted to share the complete list of awards received by Shekinah Christian Training Center at the recently concluded 32nd National Student Convention (NSC). 🏆🏅

There were so many wonderful memories made throughout the week that it would be impossible to post them all, but here are a few moments that capture the spirit of the week! ✨

We’re overflowing with gratitude and joy after an unforgettable week at the 32nd National Student Convention (NSC) in Tagaytay City! Joining 1,200 students from 86 schools across the country, our Shekinah delegates competed in five major categories: Academics, Music, Platform (Public Speaking), Arts & Photography, and Athletics.

By God’s mercy and grace, Shekinah was recognized among the Overall School Winners in four out of the five categories!
🏆 1st Place Overall – Arts & Photography
🏆 2nd Place Overall – Academics
🏆 2nd Place Overall – Music
🏆 2nd Place Overall – Platform

We’re also proud that two of our students received the Communication and Leadership Potential Award, an honor given to those with the highest combined scores among all the delegates in Academics, Platform, Music, and Arts & Photography.

Colossians 3:23 reminds us, “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.”
This was the heart of Shekinah throughout the journey—from the months of preparation, to the competitions, and up to the awarding ceremonies. We offer everything as an act of worship to the Lord.

All glory, honor, and praise belong to Him alone for every victory and success at this year’s NSC! 🙌

Shekinah is here in Tagaytay to compete in the 32nd National Student Convention, along with 85 other schools from all over the Philippines! We have 33 students and 10 staff & coaches in our delegation.

Today was our first competition day and tonight we attended the opening rally night.

Please keep our delegates in your prayers, Shekinah family! Pray for safety and protection, for success in the competions, and most importantly, for the Holy Spirit to move in the hearts of all our students, staff, parents, and guests!

We want to share with you a proud moment from our Shekinah family — our alumnus, Jin Porciuncula. 🌟 Now a freshman at Handong Global University in Pohang, South Korea, Jin is shining in his new journey. He recently won a talent contest at the Pohang Global Village Expo 2025, and was awarded ₩1,000,000! 👏 Here is his performance featured on a South Korea-based YouTube channel.

During his time at Shekinah, he served as Student Council President (2024–2025), was a leader in our Praise and Worship Team, and regularly competed as a singer at the annual National Student Convention. Keep using your talents for the glory of Jesus, Jin! 🙌
