Today, our faculty and staff participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill as part of our continuing commitment to campus safety and emergency readiness. Through regular drills and training, we strengthen our ability to respond calmly, efficiently, and effectively in times of crisis.

By staying prepared, we help ensure a safer learning environment for every member of the Marymount community.

Week 2 of Marymount Academy’s In-Service Training Program focused on strengthening both the heart and craft of teaching.

Our faculty and staff engaged in meaningful discussions on the Character Development Program, ensuring that value formation remains at the center of the Marymount educational experience. Sessions on test construction and alignment with assessment standards reinforced our commitment to fair, purposeful, and outcomes-based evaluation.

Teachers also explored the art of questioning to promote deeper thinking and student engagement, while hands-on training in Google Classroom enhanced their ability to deliver effective and organized digital learning experiences. Discussions on conflict management equipped participants with practical strategies for fostering positive relationships within the school community, and a session on the professional use of social media highlighted the importance of responsible digital citizenship in today’s connected world.
