Today, August 21, we commemorate 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘆 and remember the 43rd death anniversary of former Sen. 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼 “𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆” 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗝𝗿.

As we commemorate his 43rd death anniversary, may we remember not only how his life ended, but what his life stood for. The freedoms we experience today were shaped by Filipinos who chose to care, to speak up, and to serve despite the risks.

May his courage continue to live through the Filipino youth, through every act of integrity, every choice to serve others, and every effort to make our communities a little better.
