Plot twist: Taking care of your body is also a way of honoring God.💛

As part of our BEC-REAP Sharing for this year's Nutrition Month Celebration, our young Manresans reflected on a beautiful reminder: our body is the temple of God. ✨

Through prayer, meaningful conversations, and personal reflection, they realized that caring for their bodies goes beyond eating healthy—it is an act of gratitude, stewardship, and love for the precious gift of life that God has entrusted to them.

Inspired by this realization, our pupils wrote heartfelt messages of thanksgiving on colorful sticky notes, expressing their gratitude for the gift of good health, nourishing food, loving families, and strong bodies. Each note became a leaf of gratitude, transforming our tree into a beautiful reminder that every healthy choice is also an act of thanksgiving.

Healthy body. Grateful heart. Faith in action. 🌿💛

Because when we care for the body God has entrusted to us, we also honor the One who gave it.

✨ Who says Nutrition Month is just for the grown-ups? 🍎

Well... our little Manresans understood the assignment! 👏

Our preschoolers showed that learning about healthy habits can be just as fun as playtime. Every smile, giggle, and masterpiece reminds us that it's never too early to choose a healthier lifestyle.

Tiny hands. Big smiles. Healthy habits in the making.

Way to go, little Manresans! Keep learning, playing, and growing healthy—because the future looks brighter when it starts with good nutrition! ✨

WIKAHON SESSION | July 17, 2026

Today, our dedicated Filipino teachers gathered at the library for an enriching Wikahon Session! We were privileged to have a representative from Adarna House join us as our speaker to guide our teachers through this program.

This session aimed to equip our teachers with the best strategies to maximize WiKAHON by Adarna House—a comprehensive leveled reading tool and learning module specifically designed to help children develop reading comprehension and fluency in Filipino.

With this valuable resource, we hope to significantly improve the Filipino literacy and language proficiency of our pupils. By fostering a deeper love and understanding of our native language, we are empowering them to become confident, lifelong readers!

INDUCTION OF MSGSB OFFICERS | July 16, 2026

Today, the entire Grade School department gathered at the auditorium to witness the formal induction of our newly elected MSGSB Officers! The venue was filled with a beautiful sense of sacredness as the community came together to bless and pray for our new student leaders after they officially took their oath of office.

Just as Jesus washed the feet of His disciples, true leadership is deeply rooted in service. He taught us that the greatest leaders are those who serve with humility, compassion, and love. We pray that our new officers carry this exact spirit of servant leadership throughout their term as they guide and support their fellow students.

Congratulations to our new MSGSB Officers!

We are so proud of you!

Strengthening School-Community Partnership for Meaningful Service

Guided by this school year's Directional Theme, "Rooted in Filiation and Fraternity: Witnesses of Hope and Joy for a Humane and Just World," Manresa School continues to foster meaningful partnerships that promote service and community engagement.

Today, Manresa School met with Hon. Jonathan Espino, Barangay Kagawad, Chairman of the Committee on Education, and a proud Manresa alumnus (Batch 1989), to discuss collaborative initiatives with Barangay BF Homes. Also present were Sr. Normida M. Marquez, FI, Representative of the Congregation in the Apostolic Works (RCA); Ms. Yolanda N. Cruz, Grade School Principal; and Mr. Ariel M. Cañete, Community Extension Service Coordinator.

The meeting focused on the upcoming Grade 1 and Grade 2 Outreach Activities, with Barangay BF Homes assisting in identifying beneficiaries, including barangay workers and Day Care pupils. Both parties also explored future collaborations in disaster preparedness, teacher benchmarking, community formation, outreach programs, and educational immersion activities.

To formalize this growing partnership, Manresa School proposed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will strengthen future collaboration in education, community service, and sustainable outreach initiatives.

Together, Manresa School and Barangay BF Homes continue to build a stronger community through collaboration, compassion, and shared responsibility.

Research Enrichment Session for Grade 6 Pupils

The Grade 6 pupils took a significant step toward their Science Investigatory Project (SIP) as they participated in a meaningful Research Enrichment Session, equipping them with the essential knowledge and skills for their research journey.

Thank you to our resource speakers, Mr. Nikko R. Jesoro and Ms. Abbygale S. Gonzales, for equipping our Grade 6 pupils with a deeper understanding of the value of research, the importance of asking meaningful questions, and the basics of effective research writing. Through their engaging discussions, our young learners gained the knowledge and confidence to begin their Science Investigatory Project with purpose, curiosity, and critical thinking.

May every question spark discovery and every idea lead to meaningful learning. Here's to our future researchers as they explore, enrich, and excel!
