✨ DAY 3 | FACULTY & STAFF TEAM BUILDING 2026 ✨
📍 Baguio City to Manila

Our final day in the City of Pines began with grateful hearts at the beautiful Baguio Cathedral. ⛪💙 Before heading home, we offered our prayers and thanksgiving to God for His protection, the wonderful memories we shared, and the countless blessings received throughout this team building experience.

As we prepare to welcome another academic year, we also lift up our hopes, plans, and mission as educators — praying for wisdom, strength, unity, and guidance in shaping the lives of our students. 🙏📚

Of course, before saying goodbye to Baguio, we squeezed in some last-minute shopping for pasalubong and souvenirs. 🍓🛍️ From ukay finds to strawberry treats, every purchase carried a little memory of this unforgettable trip.

Finally, it was time to head to Victory Liner and begin our journey back to Manila — tired but happy, carrying home not just bags and pasalubong, but stronger friendships, renewed spirits, and memories we will surely cherish. 🚌✨

Thank you, Baguio, for the peace, laughter, bonding, and beautiful moments. Until next time! 🌲❤️

Some encounters during our Baguio trip became extra special because of the people we met along the way. ❤️

One of the highlights of this journey was being warmly welcomed by one of our RGMS alumni, Jonas Abner Padilla together with his beautiful family. Despite his busy schedule, he took time to meet us and even prepared a wonderful dinner for his former teachers. Truly, our hearts are full.

As teachers, moments like these remind us that our work goes far beyond the classroom. Seeing our former student grow into a responsible, kind, humble, and loving family man is one of the greatest rewards of being an educator. 🥹

We are proud of the person he has become and deeply grateful for the love and hospitality shown to us. Encounters like this inspire us to continue teaching with passion, dedication, and heart — knowing that the seeds we plant in our students can truly make a difference in their lives.

Thank you for making us feel at home in Baguio. May God continue to bless your family abundantly. ❤️🙏

✨ DAY 2 | FACULTY & STAFF TEAM BUILDING 2026 ✨
📍 Baguio City

Today was another meaningful and joy-filled day for our RGMS family. 💙

We started the morning with a warm breakfast shared like one big family — filled with stories, laughter, and moments that reminded us how blessed we are to journey together. ☕🥞 Special thanks to Tess and Gani del Rosario 💖

Our Baguio adventure continued at the iconic Mines View Park, where we proudly wore the colorful Cordilleran costumes and embraced the rich culture and heritage of the North. ❤️🧡💛 Truly a fun and memorable experience!

We also had the opportunity to visit the BenCab Museum, where art, culture, and nature beautifully came together. It was inspiring to witness the creativity and history showcased in every corner. 🎨🌿

Of course, no Baguio trip is complete without a hearty lunch at the famous Good Taste! 🍽️ Afterward, we enjoyed exploring the local market, buying souvenirs, fresh produce, and pasalubong for our loved ones. 🛍️🍓

To end the day, we shared dinner with one of our dear alumni and his family — a heartwarming reminder that the bonds formed in school continue far beyond the classroom. 🫶 Thank you for hosting us Jonas and Mitchy Padilla.

Grateful for this day, for the memories made, the friendships strengthened, and the blessings received. 💫

🌱 Day 13 / 30 — Create a Prepared Environment

💛 “The environment becomes the child’s silent teacher.”

Have you ever noticed how children behave differently depending on the space around them?

In a messy and cluttered environment,
children often become:
• distracted
• restless
• overwhelmed

But in a calm and organized space…

👉 they naturally become more focused, peaceful, and independent 🌱

🌿 What Is a Prepared Environment?

In Montessori, the environment is carefully designed to support the child’s growth.

A prepared environment is:
✔ simple
✔ calm
✔ organized
✔ child-friendly

It allows children to:
• move freely
• make choices independently
• access materials easily
• return things to their proper place

And through these small daily experiences…

👉 children quietly learn responsibility, order, and independence.

🌟 Why It Matters

When everything is within the child’s reach,
they begin to feel:
💛 capable
💛 trusted
💛 confident

Instead of constantly depending on adults,
they learn:
👉 “I can do this myself.”

🌱 A Common Misunderstanding

Many parents think they need:
❌ expensive toys
❌ Pinterest-perfect spaces
❌ large learning rooms

But Montessori is not about perfection.

Even small changes can make a big difference:
✔ low shelves
✔ fewer toys
✔ organized materials
✔ calm spaces

Simple environments help children focus better and feel more secure.

🌿 What Children Learn in a Prepared Environment

✔ independence
✔ discipline
✔ responsibility
✔ confidence

Because the space itself encourages learning.

🎯 Today’s Task

Choose ONE small area in your home and prepare it for your child.

You can:
• organize toys
• remove extra clutter
• place items within reach
• create a calm little corner

Then observe:
🌱 Is your child more focused?
🌱 More independent?
🌱 More engaged?

❤️ A Gentle Reminder

A prepared environment doesn’t just change the space…

👉 it shapes the child 🌱💛

🌱 Day 12 / 30 — Follow the Child

💛 “When children are trusted to follow their curiosity, learning becomes joyful.”

Have you ever noticed how deeply children focus on something they truly enjoy?

Maybe it’s:
• building blocks
• drawing
• arranging objects
• repeating the same activity again and again

To adults, it may seem repetitive…

But for children,
that repetition is learning 🌱

🌿 What Does “Follow the Child” Mean?

One of the core principles of Montessori is:
👉 “Follow the Child.”

This means:
✔ observing the child carefully
✔ understanding their interests
✔ guiding them based on their natural curiosity

instead of constantly controlling or directing everything they do.

🌟 Why It Matters

Every child learns differently.

Each child has:
• their own interests
• their own pace
• their own way of understanding the world

When children choose activities that genuinely interest them:
✔ they focus longer
✔ they enjoy learning more
✔ they develop deeper understanding

And most importantly…

👉 they become active participants in their own learning.

🌿 A Common Parenting Mistake

Sometimes adults interrupt too quickly:
❌ “Do this instead.”
❌ “That’s enough.”
❌ “Try something else.”

Without realizing it,
we break the child’s concentration and natural curiosity.

🌱 Montessori Reminder

Following the child does NOT mean unlimited freedom.

It means:
✔ freedom with guidance
✔ independence with boundaries
✔ exploration within a prepared environment

Children still need structure…
but they also need trust 💛

🌿 What Happens When We Follow the Child?

Children become:
✔ more confident
✔ more independent
✔ more responsible
✔ more connected to learning

Because they feel:
👉 “My ideas matter.”
👉 “I am trusted.”
👉 “I can learn.”

🎯 Today’s Task

Today, observe what naturally interests your child.

Instead of redirecting immediately…
pause and support the activity.

Watch:
🌱 how focused they become
🌱 how long they stay engaged
🌱 how joyful learning feels

❤️ A Gentle Reminder

Children learn best when curiosity leads the way 🌱💛

🌱 Day 11 / 30 — Don’t Rush the Child

💛 “Growth takes time… and patience makes it beautiful.”

“Come on, hurry up!”
How often do we say this to our children without even realizing it?

As adults, we move quickly because we are focused on schedules, responsibilities, and time.

But children experience the world very differently.

🌿 For a child, simple daily tasks are not “small things.”

Wearing shoes…
pouring water…
cleaning up toys…
buttoning clothes…

👉 these are all part of their learning process.

When we rush children:
• they feel pressured
• they become frustrated
• they lose confidence
• and sometimes, they stop enjoying learning altogether

🌟 What Montessori Teaches

Montessori reminds us to:
✔ respect the child’s pace
✔ allow time for practice
✔ understand that learning takes repetition

Because every child develops differently.

Some children need more time —
and that’s okay 🌱

🌿 Why Slowing Down Matters

When children are given patience and space:
✔ they become more independent
✔ more focused
✔ more confident

And most importantly…

👉 they learn to trust themselves.

🌱 A Simple Shift for Parents

Instead of:
❌ “Hurry up!”

Try:
✔️ “Take your time, you’re learning.”
✔️ “I see you’re trying your best.”
✔️ “You can do it.”

Small words can create big confidence 💛

🎯 Today’s Task

Today, choose one activity and avoid rushing your child.

Let them:
• finish at their own pace
• solve problems independently
• take their time learning

Then simply observe:
🌱 Are they calmer?
🌱 More focused?
🌱 More confident?

❤️ A Gentle Reminder

Children are not slow…

👉 they are learning.

And in those slow moments,
real growth happens 🌱💛

Follow for Day 12 ✨

23/05/2026

🌱 Day 10 / 30 — 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞

💛 “Confidence grows when effort is valued… not just results.”

Have you ever noticed how quickly we say:
👉 “Good job!”

whenever our child does something?

It feels positive and encouraging…
but sometimes, too much praise can create an unexpected effect.

🌿 The Difference Between Praise & Encouragement

When children constantly hear praise,
they may begin to depend on approval from others.

Instead of feeling proud of their own effort,
they start looking for validation:
👉 “Did I do well?”
👉 “Will someone praise me?”

Over time, this can affect confidence and independence.

🌟 What Montessori Teaches

Montessori encourages us to focus on:
✔️ effort
✔️ progress
✔️ persistence

instead of only the final result.

Instead of saying:
❌ “Good job!”

Try saying:
✔️ “You worked really hard on that.”
✔️ “You kept trying even when it was difficult.”
✔️ “You did that all by yourself.”

These words help children notice:
🌱 their effort
🌱 their improvement
🌱 their capability

And that builds confidence from within 💛

🌿 Why Encouragement Matters

Encouragement helps children become:
✔️ more independent
✔️ more motivated
✔️ more resilient

because they learn:
👉 effort matters more than perfection.

🎯 Today’s Task

Today, try replacing simple praise with meaningful encouragement.

Observe your child’s:
• effort
• persistence
• problem-solving

and describe what you see.

For example:
Instead of:
❌ “Good drawing!”

Try:
✔️ “You used so many colors and worked carefully on your drawing.”

❤️ A Gentle Reminder

Children grow stronger when they feel valued for who they are becoming…
not just for what they achieve 🌱
