Ian Matthew Corton, Jocel Lyn Ninobla, and Justin Kobe Macario spearheaded the Philippine Poomsae Team’s 11-medal haul with two silvers and nine bronzes in the 9th Asian Taekwondo Championships in Mongolia.

Patrick King Perez and Jocel Lyn Ninobla increased the country’s medal haul for Day 1 of the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand after a bronze medal finish in Taekwondo’s Mixed Pair Recognized Poomsae.
