COPEL School would like to congratulate ππ’π¦ππ¨π π. πππππ£π for graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines!
Joshua earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree with the academic distinction of magna cm laude, awarded only to students with a weighted average grade (WAG) of 1.45 or higher.
The University of the Philippines (UP) is the national university of the Philippines, as declared in Republic Act No. 9500. Known for its internationally recognized academic programs and for producing high-performing graduates in various fields, UP admits only about 13% of UPCAT examinees, making it one of the most selective universities in the country.
Joshua is also a DOST-SEI Scholar, having been recognized and supported by the Department of Science and Technology β Science Education Institute for his academic excellence in a priority field of study. This scholarship is given to students with an outstanding ability in science and mathematics.
In addition to excelling academically, Joshua was actively involved in student organizations. He served as the Academic Affairs Committee Head of UP CURSOR for A.Y. 2023β2024, and as the Review Sessions Team Lead of the CS Network in 2023.
