On February 9–10, 2026, PNHS–Baclaran successfully conducted a Career Guidance Orientation for our Grade 10 learners to help them make informed decisions as they prepare for Senior High School.

The session provided valuable insights on different strands and possible career pathways aligned with their interests and strengths.

PNHS–Baclaran successfully hosted the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program on February 4, 2026.

The FGD was led by District VII Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) Emerson Sabadlab and participated in by District VII school heads and ARAL focal persons. This engagement aimed at validating the implementation of the ARAL Program through data verification and collaborative dialogue.

Highlights of the discussion included:
-Presentation of National ARAL Data
-Identification of problems encountered
-Sharing of interventions and best practices
-Summary, agreements, and future plans to further strengthen learning recovery initiatives

Through open discussion and shared insights, the activity reinforced our collective commitment to ensuring data integrity, enhancing literacy and numeracy interventions, and supporting learners’ transition from Emerging to Grade-Ready.

Makapag-aral ay karapatan mo, magpa-lista!

Our dedicated teachers attended the CB-NCAE Orientation today, January 20, 2026, to prepare for the upcoming Computer- Based National Career Assessment Examination.

This session equipped our educators with the guidelines, procedures, and best practices to effectively support our students during the assessment.

PNHS Baclaran at the BSP Parañaque City Council Court of Honor

Today, January 17, 2026, PNHS Baclaran proudly participated in the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Parañaque City Council Court of Honor, an event recognizing the Champions for Nature and Impact Innovators for their outstanding contributions to service and environmental stewardship.

The program also honored Scouts through the awarding of Certificates of Recognition and Participation for the 33rd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree, celebrating their dedication, leadership, and commitment to the values of Scouting.

PNHS Baclaran was represented by 21 Scouts and 3 adult leaders, whose active participation brought pride and honor to the school.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our School Principal, Sir Gerry Catchillar, for his unwavering and unending support to the Boy Scouts of the Philippines. His encouragement continues to strengthen Scouting programs and youth leadership within PNHS Baclaran.
