LOOK: The Bureau of Customs (BOC) graced the Annual General Assembly of Philippine Society of Customs Administration Students (PSCAS) held at the Lyceum of the Philippines University-Manila (LPU) on September 11, 2023.

Atty. Marlon Agaceta, Chief of Staff of the Office of the Commissioner, and other BOC officials attended the event along with a large number of students who are members of PSCAS.

Speaking on behalf of BOC Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio, Atty. Agaceta gave an inspiring message citing the recent accomplishments of the BOC's 5-Point Priority Programs particularly the digitalization of Customs processes and the robust revenue collection. He encouraged PSCAS members to pursue excellence and innovation as future leaders in Customs Administration.

PRC OBSERVES NINOY AQUINO DAY

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is one with the nation in the observance of Ninoy Aquino Day on August 21, 2023 (Monday).

Along with this, PRC is temporarily suspending operations in all its Offices and Service Centers nationwide on the abovementioned date. Affected appointments will be accommodated upon resumption of operations on August 22, 2023 (Tuesday).

Suspension of Work on August 25, 2023

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 27 from the Office of the President dated August 15, 2023, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the temporary suspension of work in all PRC Offices and Service Centers in Metro Manila on August 25, 2023, in order to extend its full assistance to the Philippines Sports Commission in ensuring the safe, orderly and successful conduct of the opening ceremonies of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, to be held at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.

Affected appointments will be accommodated upon resumption of frontline services on August 29, 2023 (Tuesday).
