While getting our website upgraded, we decided to extend our help to fellow volunteer organizations who were helping with the current medical situation in the philippines.

We found one endeavor that fit our capacities, and they held a blood-letting activity last September 11, 2021 at the Eastwood mall. We were joined by a number of other blood donors who were willing to share a part of themselves to people who would need them.

The result? 40 bags of blood that were made available to local hospitals!!!

That isn’t much in the grand scheme of things (thousands of bags are needed everyday all over the country), but we honor and value the efforts of our volunteers and the organizers who regularly do this, providing a stable supply of blood for both private and public hospitals who need it).

There is always something we can give.

Whether it’s an extra effort of helping your spouse even when you’re tired, being extra patient when both of you aren’t having a good day, or sharing the last piece of your favorite food with your spouse, it works when you’re giving a part of yourself willingly.

To our organizers, a million thanks! I’ll be available for another blood letting activity in 3 months, and I’ll see you again then! :)
