PARAÑAQUE CITY POLICE STATION STATEMENT ON THREAT MESSAGES CIRCULATING IN SOCIAL MEDIA
In response to the circulating Facebook post alleging planned shootings in several schools within Parañaque City and other cities, this Police Station, through the Intelligence Section immediately initiated validation and verification to determine the authenticity of the said online threat; fortunately, the investigation yielded negative results.
While the content of these posts may be perceived as a potential source of widespread alarm and public threat, we want to assure the public that we have intensified our monitoring and coordination efforts, particularly in schools within our jurisdiction. Our primary goal is to safeguard public safety and prevent any potential ex*****on of criminal activities.
The Parañaque City Police Station will continue collaborate closely with school authorities and partner agencies to ensure the safety and security of our communities. We urge the public to remain calm, avoid spreading unverified information and be aware that spreading false threats or malicious information to cause panic and alarm can lead to serious legal consequences.

In accordance with the announcement of Mayor Edwin L. Olivarez, 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲-𝘁𝗼-𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 today June 10, 2026 due to the Southwest Monsoon (𝘏𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘵), enhanced by Typhoon "𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆." This follows the extension of 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟰 under the 𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗬 level of the DepEd Education in Emergencies Framework as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of all learners.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT
The Schools Division Office of Parañaque has received reports and information, including videos circulating on social media, concerning alleged acts of sexual abuse involving certain teachers and learners.
We wish to assure our learners, parents, personnel, and stakeholders that these allegations are being treated with the utmost seriousness, urgency, and impartiality. The Schools Division Office has initiated the appropriate processes and is undertaking the necessary actions in accordance with existing laws, Department of Education policies, child protection protocols, and due process requirements.
The protection, welfare, and best interests of our learners remain our highest priority. Appropriate support mechanisms are being made available, and all concerned offices are coordinating closely to ensure that the rights and welfare of affected learners are safeguarded throughout the process.
The Schools Division Office is likewise coordinating with the appropriate authorities for the proper handling of the matter and the conduct of any necessary legal and administrative proceedings, consistent with applicable laws, regulations, and established procedures.
