In line with this year’s theme, “ASEAN: A Community of Peace and Prosperity for All,” F. Serrano Sr. Elementary School proudly joined the 2025 ASEAN Celebration through a vibrant parade featuring learners representing the 11 ASEAN member countries. The school also showcased an informative gallery exhibit displaying each country’s national flag, traditional food, famous landmarks, language, currency, and national costume.

This celebration aims to foster cultural awareness and appreciation among students, promote unity and respect among ASEAN nations, and deepen the learners’ understanding of the ASEAN community—its shared values, goals, and identity.

Through these engaging activities, we honor the spirit of "Unity in Diversity" and encourage every learner to become responsible, globally aware citizens.

Representatives from F. Serrano Sr. Elementary School proudly joined the benchmarking activity at Liliw Central Elementary School in Laguna, one of the pilot implementers of the Creative Curriculum for Kindergarten. This initiative is in line with the Schools Division of Parañaque City’s commitment to enhance early childhood education through play-based, learner-centered approaches that align with DepEd’s new curriculum framework.

To the SDO Laguna family, headed by Dr. Editha Atendido, our sincerest thanks for the warm hospitality and thoughtful preparations. Your team’s inspiring leadership and strong commitment to early childhood education were truly evident throughout the activity.

A huge shoutout and heartfelt thanks to all our dear parents, guardians, and learners who actively participated in today's Pre School Opening Activity (PSOA) and Dry Run held at F. Serrano Sr. Elementary School! 🙌

This meaningful event marks our strong commitment to ensuring a smooth and well-informed opening of classes this coming June 16, 2025. The PSOA is an essential part of our school preparations, designed to orient our stakeholders on key school policies, safety protocols, learner support programs, and classroom routines. Through this initiative, we strengthen our partnership with the community and promote transparency, readiness, and collaboration in delivering quality basic education.

The dry run also gave our pupils and their guardians a preview of actual classroom procedures—helping everyone familiarize themselves with entry and exit points, classroom assignments, and daily routines. This simulation is part of our efforts to ensure that the first day of school will be orderly, secure, and joyful for all learners.

Sa diwa ng pagkakaisa at malasakit, matagumpay nating isinagawa ang Kick-Off Program ng Brigada Eskwela 2025! Ang pagtutulungan ng mga g**o, magulang, mag-aaral, volunteers, NGO, LGU at katuwang mula sa komunidad ay nagsilbing matibay na haligi ng ating layuning itaguyod ang kultura ng pagbabasa sa bawat batang Pilipino. 📚

Sa temang “Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa,” ating pinagtitibay ang paniniwalang ang edukasyon ay responsibilidad ng buong sambayanan. Sa bawat tinulungang silid-aralan, linis, at tulong na inyong ipinagkaloob — mas pinalalakas natin ang pundasyon ng kinabukasan ng ating mga mag-aaral.

💡Ang pagbabasa ay daan tungo sa pag-unlad, at sa Brigada, ang bawat isa ay may mahalagang papel.
