C is not only for Competent but also for Compliant. Our Assessment Center passed the compliance audit in Bread and Pastry Production NC II and Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I and II. Thanks to the TESDA auditors and of course to our CALII staff Ana and Grace who prepared well for this audit.

Congratulations to our first batch of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC I scholars under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) of TESDA and Sen Joel Villanueva. This is day 1 of their 37-day training that includes a module on entrepreneurship to help them set up their own welding shops after gaining the knowledge and skills in welding. As STEP scholars, they will receive free training, free assessment, training allowance and starter tool kit.
