Despite the temporary pause in face-to-face classes due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), heavy rainfall, and flooding, BESians from Kindergarten to Grade 6 continued their learning safely at home through Online Classes and Modular Distance Learning under HINAY (Ease In).

Each grade level found ways to stay engaged, complete learning tasks, and remain connected with their teachers, with the support of their families.

Through the dedication of our teachers, the cooperation of families, and the resilience of our learners, learning remains meaningful, manageable, and continuous, even when the classroom pauses.

At Binakod Elementary School, safety comes first, but learning never stops.

Despite the challenges brought by Habagat and flooding, the BES faculty and staff remained connected through a virtual Staff Meeting via MS Teams on August 19, 2026, at 3:00 PM.

Led by Sir Von Christian A. Ocampo, School Head, the meeting strengthened communication, coordination, and teamwork as the BES team continues to keep school programs and activities moving forward.

Despite the suspension of face-to-face classes brought about by the effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), heavy rainfall, and flooding in some areas, learning continues at Binakod Elementary School through Online Classes and Modular Distance Learning under HINAY (Ease In), in line with the DepEd 4H Learning Continuity Framework.

With the guidance of their teachers and the support of their parents and guardians, BESians continued to participate in lessons, discussions, and learning activities from the safety of their homes.

Through flexible learning, the temporary pause in face-to-face classes did not mean a pause in education. Learners continued to stay connected, engaged, and ready to learnโ€”safely, steadily, and at their own pace.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 17

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 127, government offices are directed to shift to appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces starting 12:00 noon on August 17, 2026:

๐Ÿ“ Bataan
๐Ÿ“ Bulacan
๐Ÿ“ Pampanga
๐Ÿ“ Tarlac
๐Ÿ“ Nueva Ecija
๐Ÿ“ Cavite
๐Ÿ“ Batangas
๐Ÿ“ Rizal
๐Ÿ“ Laguna
๐Ÿ“ Quezon
๐Ÿ“ Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.
