CLASS SUSPENSION ADVISORY
August 18, 2026 | Tuesday

In compliance with the directive of the Municipal Government of Paombong and the recommendation of the Paombong MDRRMO, face-to-face classes at St. Martin de Porres Catholic School shall remain suspended in all levels tomorrow, August 18, 2026.

This is due to the continued effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), widespread flooding in the municipality, and the Red Rainfall Warning, with an estimated 50–200 mm of rainfall expected within the next 24 hours, according to DOST–PAGASA Impact-Based Forecast No. 12.

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026, the school shall observe Ease-In. Classes will be conducted online through Zoom using the meeting links previously shared in each class’s official Facebook group.

Learners affected by flooding, power interruptions, unstable internet connection, or other emergency conditions shall be given due consideration. Their safety and well-being must remain the priority.

This is in compliance with the directive of the Municipal Government of Paombong and the recommendation of the Paombong MDRRMO following its Disaster Risk Assessment. Flooding continues to affect the municipality due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the anticipated 4.9-foot high tide.

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026, the school shall observe “HINGA.” While face-to-face classes are suspended, learning shall continue through asynchronous activities. Instructions and learning materials will be posted in each class’s official Facebook group. Learners are advised to complete the activities at their own pace, subject to their safety, well-being, and access to the necessary resources.

In compliance with the advisory of the Paombong MDRRMO and PDRRMC Memorandum No. DRF-08092026-510, classes at St. Martin de Porres Catholic School are SUSPENDED IN ALL LEVELS on Monday, August 10, 2026, due to the effects of Typhoon Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

The school shall observe “STOP,” which means that all onsite, online, and asynchronous learning activities are suspended. No assignments, activities, or submissions shall be required during the suspension.

OFFICIAL ADVISORY

Good day, Martinians!

Pursuant to the advisory issued by the Municipal Government of Paombong, upon the recommendation of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), and in accordance with DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026 on the Guidelines on Learning Continuity in Emergencies, St. Martin de Porres Catholic School shall implement the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) tomorrow, Friday, August 7, 2026, due to the effects of Tropical Cyclone Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Accordingly, online synchronous classes shall be conducted following the regular class schedule using the Zoom meeting links previously provided by the subject teachers.

Please be further advised that should Malacañang issue a declaration suspending classes later this evening or tomorrow morning, all classes in St. Martin de Porres Catholic School shall likewise be suspended. In the absence of such a declaration, online synchronous classes shall proceed as scheduled, in accordance with the memorandum issued by the Paombong MDRRMO.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Good day, Martinians!

In compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 122 issued by the Office of the President, all classes and office operations at St. Martin de Porres Catholic School are suspended today, August 6, 2026, due to the continued heavy rainfall brought about by Tropical Storm Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

There will be no face-to-face classes, no online or asynchronous classes, and no office operations today.

The safety and well-being of our students, parents, and personnel remain our highest priority. We encourage everyone to stay informed through official government advisories, remain vigilant, and prioritize their safety.
