Today, we observe the International Day of Peace, a United Nations observance dedicated to strengthening the ideals of peace and non-violence among all nations and peoples.

This year’s theme, “Invest in Peace — For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day,” reminds us that peace is built not only through global efforts but also through everyday actions in our homes, schools, and communities.

Let us continue to promote respect, understanding, cooperation, and peaceful communities.

🇵🇭 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝟲𝟵𝗧𝗛 𝗕𝗜𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗗𝗔𝗬, 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗗 “𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗚” 𝗥. 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗢𝗦 𝗝𝗥.
The Araling Panlipunan Club joins the nation in commemorating the 69th birthday of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Romualdez Marcos Jr. on September 13, 2026.

He was born on September 13, 1957, in Batac, Ilocos Norte, President Marcos Jr. entered public service in Ilocos Norte and later served as Vice Governor and Governor of the province, followed by terms as Representative of the 2nd District of Ilocos Norte and Senator of the Philippines. In 2022, he was elected as the 17th President of the Republic of the Philippines.

His political career is also part of the continuing history of Philippine public service and the political history of Ilocos Norte. As the country marks his birthday, this occasion provides an opportunity to reflect on the people and events that continue to shape our nation’s history.

The government is also marking his 69th birthday through “Handog ng Pangulo,” a nationwide initiative bringing government services and assistance closer to communities.

A celebration conducted on September 2, 2026, was made more meaningful by the people who participated, represented, and helped make our ASEAN Month Kick-Off possible.

Featuring our ASEAN-Inspired Outfit representatives from different sections of the SHS Department, together with our dedicated AP Club Adviser and Officers from both JHS and SHS, whose continued support helped promote culture, unity, and active student participation.
