Today, the pupils and teachers of Salbang Elementary School join the celebration of Global Handwashing Day 2026, promoting the importance of proper handwashing with soap and clean water to prevent diseases and maintain good health.

Through this simple yet powerful habit, we can protect ourselves, care for others, and create a cleaner, healthier, and safer school community. Let us work together to make handwashing a daily practice both inside and outside the classroom. 🫧💙

“Every learner deserves a chance to learn, grow, and succeed.” 📚✨

Salbang Elementary School successfully conducted its ARAL Program Kick-Off on September 17, 2026, marking another meaningful step in the school’s commitment to supporting learners and strengthening their foundational learning.

The activity brought together the school community in support of the ARAL Program, providing learners with meaningful opportunities to improve their skills, build confidence, and reach their full potential. The program was spearheaded by ARAL Program Coordinator, Miss Aimee D. Dumaoal, with the guidance and support of School Principal, Mrs. Evangeline T. Florentino.

On August 15, 2026, Salbang Elementary School came alive with energy, excitement, teamwork, and sportsmanship as we officially held our School Intramurals 2026 at the SES Covered Stage!

We extend our sincere gratitude to our esteemed Guest Speaker, Hon. Alfonso Conrado E. Diaz, for gracing the occasion and inspiring our young athletes with his presence and words of encouragement.

Special thanks to our School Sports Coordinator, Mrs. Eva T. Tagatac, and School Head, Mrs. Evangeline T. Florentino, for their leadership and continued support in making this event a success.

DAY 1 | SCHOOL-BASED FEEDING PROGRAM (SBFP) 2026

Day 1 of School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) was successfully implemented with 42 beneficiaries who are now taking part in a journey toward better nutrition, healthier habits, and improved well-being.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the strong collaboration and support of our dedicated parents and guardians, School Principal I – Mrs. Evangeline T. Florentino, SBFP Coordinator – Ms. Aimee D. Dumaoal, Nutrition Coordinator - Ms. Stephanie V. Rambaud, and our hardworking faculty and staff.

Together, we are committed to providing our learners with nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits, and nurturing healthier and happier children who are ready to learn and grow.

Salbang Elementary School successfully held the Joint SPTA–SELG Induction Ceremony and Nutrition Month Culmination Activity on August 1, 2026, bringing together learners, parents, teachers, and stakeholders in a meaningful celebration of leadership, partnership, unity, and healthy living.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of our esteemed Inducting Officer, Dr. Norma T. Galarita, Chairman, Committee on Education of Brgy. 3 Salbang, Paoay, Ilocos Norte, whose support and commitment to education continue to inspire the school community.

The activity was held under the strong and dedicated leadership of Mrs. Evangeline T. Florentino, School Principal I, whose guidance and commitment have helped strengthen the partnership among the school, parents, learners, and community stakeholders.

May this celebration strengthen our commitment to working hand in hand for the welfare of every learner and the continuous improvement of Salbang Elementary School.
