Today, Lomidong Elementary School successfully conducted its School-Based Deworming Activity in partnership with the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Pantao Ragat. This initiative aims to promote the health and well-being of our learners by protecting them from intestinal parasites, helping them stay healthy, active, and ready to learn.

In support of the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), our school actively participated in the conduct of the earthquake drill to strengthen disaster preparedness and promote a culture of safety among learners, teachers, and school personnel.

Through the proper practice of "Duck, Cover, and Hold" and orderly evacuation procedures, we continue to equip ourselves with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively during emergencies.

Preparedness is everyone's responsibility. By participating in drills like this, we take an important step toward building a safer, more resilient, and disaster-ready school community.

We are pleased to announce the successful completion and First Quarter Release of all learning materials and supplies allocated from MOOE for School Year 2026-2027

From the first to the last release, our goal has always been simple: to ensure that every learner in LOMIDONG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL has the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed. Today, we close this chapter with gratitude in our hearts.

Earlier this morning, June 8, 2026, an actual earthquake struck during our morning Flag Ceremony assembly at Lomidong Elementary School.

Thanks to our continuous safety drills, our students, teachers, and community members immediately took precautionary measuresβ€”dropping low, protecting their heads, and remaining outdoors in the open ground away from structures.

Our DRRM Coordinator, Aakkiimmaahh DT Tondia, reminds everyone to stay calm, alert, and prepared for potential aftershocks.

πŸ›‘ WHAT TO DO DURING AN EARTHQUAKE:

DON'T PANIC:** Keep a clear mind and reassure those around you.
DROP: Get down on your hands and knees to protect yourself from being knocked over.
COVER:Protect your head and neck with your arms. If indoors, get under a sturdy desk or table.
HOLD:Stay in place until the shaking stops.

​The school grounds are alive again, and our hearts are incredibly full! Today, Lomidong Elementary School officially welcomed back our amazing learners for Day 1 of the school year, and what an incredible kickoff it was! πŸŽ’πŸ“š

​We started our morning with pride and unity during our first Flag Ceremony πŸ‡΅πŸ‡­, followed by a high-energy energizer that got everyone moving, laughing, and shaking off those first-day jitters! πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί
