As a heartfelt World Teachers’ Day Offering by RONAS TRAINING CENTER, this successful gathering honored the powerful role of Filipino educators in creating schools where learners feel safe, supported, understood, and empowered to thrive.
Anchored on the theme, “Building Resilience Through Emergency Preparedness, Psychological First Aid & Homeroom Guidance,” the webinar strengthened the collective commitment of educators to respond not only to academic needs, but also to the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of every learner.

A significant highlight of the program was the timely and impactful session:
“Early Intervention for Mental Health Programmes for School”
delivered by Dr. France Byron B. Guiuan, CEDS, CHP, CGSP, Lead Convenor of “Bag ng Pag-asa” and “Notebook Mo, Kinabukasan Ko,” Mental Health Advocate, Author, Educator, and Entrepreneur.

Dr. Guiuan’s meaningful discussion emphasized that early intervention can make a life-changing difference. By recognizing early signs of concern, creating accessible support systems, promoting open conversations, and working together with families and communities, schools can become powerful spaces of prevention, healing, hope, and resilience.

This session reminded us that mental-health support in school is not an added responsibility—it is an essential expression of care. When teachers and school leaders are equipped to respond with awareness and compassion, learners are given a stronger chance to be heard, helped, and guided toward a healthier future.

From Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, teachers, school leaders, and education advocates gathered in one meaningful national learning space for the successful webinar, SAFE SCHOOL, STRONG TEACHERS.

As a special World Teachers’ Day Offering by RONAS TRAINING CENTER, this National Webinar recognized that teachers do more than teach lessons—they help protect lives, bring calm in moments of crisis, and create safe spaces where learners can continue to grow with confidence.

Anchored on the theme, “Building Resilience Through Emergency Preparedness, Psychological First Aid & Homeroom Guidance,” the webinar empowered participants with practical knowledge and a renewed sense of shared responsibility in making every school safer, more prepared, and more responsive.

A key highlight of the program was the essential session:
School Emergency & First Aid Essentials
led by Brenda Agot, BSN, RN, CMSRN, TCTCN, a Care Manager, Certified Medical-Surgical Nurse, and Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Certified Nurse from Texas, USA.

Through her valuable expertise, Ms. Agot emphasized the importance of readiness, timely response, and basic first-aid awareness in school settings. Her session reminded us that emergency preparedness is not only a policy or a procedure—it is a commitment to protecting every learner, every teacher, and every member of the school community.

Kapag humupa na ang tunog ng huling kampana,
kapag wala nang laman ang bawat upuan,
at unti-unting pumapasok ang sinag ng papalubog na araw
sa tahimik na silid-aralan—
madalas, may gurong naiiwan
na higit pa sa mga aklat ang pasan.

Ang pagod.
Ang mga sakripisyong walang nakakakita.
Ang pag-aalala para sa bawat batang pumapasok na gutom, nasasaktan, nahihirapan,
o tahimik na nawawalan ng pag-asa.

Ngunit sa nanginginig na mga kamay, may isang munting kard na nagsasabing:
“Salamat po, G**o.”

At biglang, ang mga luha ay hindi na lamang dahil sa pagod.
Luha rin ito ng pag-asang malaman na sa puso ng isang bata,
may aral na tumatak, may buhay na naantig,
at may pangarap na muling nagkaroon ng dahilan upang magpatuloy.

Sa bawat gurong Pilipino na patuloy na pumapasok at lumalaban—

As a special World Teachers’ Day Offering by RONAS TRAINING CENTER, this successful National Webinar celebrated the heart of every educator: the commitment to protect, guide, uplift, and empower learners—especially in times when they need us most.

With the theme, “Building Resilience Through Emergency Preparedness, Psychological First Aid & Homeroom Guidance,” the webinar strengthened the shared mission of Filipino educators to build learning environments where every child feels safe, seen, supported, and ready to rise above challenges.
