Basic Education
Face-to-face classes remain suspended. Classes will continue through online flexible learning.

College Level
All lecture classes will be conducted through online flexible learning.

Experiential Learning Activities
OJT, clinical duties, internships, and similar activities may continue face-to-face, provided that conditions are safe and the concerned institutions or agencies are operational.

For Affected Students
Flexibility in attendance, participation, and submission deadlines will continue to be given to students affected by flooding, transportation difficulties, and other weather-related concerns.

Office Operations
Regular onsite work will continue in all offices and departments.

L-NU PUBLIC ADVISORY | EARLY DISMISSAL OF CLASSES

To help ensure the safety and well-being of our students, an early dismissal will be implemented today.

Students may be dismissed starting at 2:00 PM, with 3:00 PM as the latest dismissal time, depending on their respective class schedules and arrangements.

Parents and guardians are advised to coordinate with their children and make the necessary arrangements for their safe travel home.

We encourage everyone to exercise caution and prioritize safety, especially while traveling.

Please be guided by the following arrangements for tomorrow, August 26, 2026, as L-NU continues to prioritize the safety and welfare of our Lyceans, faculty, and personnel:

Basic Education
Face-to-face classes remain suspended. Classes will continue through online flexible learning.

College Level
Lecture classes will be conducted through online flexible learning. OJT, clinical duties, internships, and other experiential activities may continue face-to-face only when conditions are safe and the concerned facilities/agencies are operational.

Flexibility in attendance, participation, and submission deadlines shall continue to be extended to students who are affected by the flooding or are experiencing difficulties related to transportation, or other circumstances brought about by the recent weather conditions.

Office Operations
Regular onsite work will continue in all offices and departments.

Campus fogging will be conducted across the university, including classrooms and offices, starting at 3:00 PM. All students and employees must leave the campus before this time, except those assigned to assist.

๐Ÿ“ข EARLY DISMISSAL OF CLASSES TODAY

To prioritize the safety, welfare, and comfort of our students, classes may be dismissed as early as 1:00 PM and not later than 3:00 PM today, August 24, 2026.

This arrangement is intended to give students enough time to travel home safely before the forecasted heavy rains and to help them avoid the afternoon rush hour.

Students are advised to coordinate with their respective faculty members and academic units regarding dismissal arrangements.

Please stay safe, remain alert to weather advisories, and take extra care on your way home.
