๐๐ โ Unity, joy, and togetherness filled the campus of Patria National High School as it successfully celebrated its Family Day on February 13, 2026, with the theme โIririmaw Kita, MAGKAPAMILYA! Mag-ulikid kag Magkinasadya.โ
The celebration aimed to strengthen the bond among students, parents, teachers, and the community through meaningful and enjoyable activities. The event was warmly welcomed by Mr. Edgar N. Estoya, Principal I of Patria National High School, who expressed his gratitude to everyone who took part in making the occasion memorable.
The school was honored to have invited Hon. Paolo Everardo S. Javier, Provincial Governor of Antique, as the distinguished guest. However, due to urgent matters that required his immediate attention, the governor was unable to attend the celebration. Despite this, the program proceeded with high spirits and strong community participation.
One of the highlights of the event was the much-anticipated Family Got Talent, where families from different grade levels showcased their talents in singing, dancing, and other creative performances. Parents and students shared the stage, proving that talent truly runs in the family. The performances were judged by invited retirees of the school, namely Mr. Efren U. Garzon, Mrs. Neriza R. Aranas, Mr. Alfonso D. Aranas, Mr. Jose A. Fernandez, Mr. Diobino S. Mantac, and Mrs. Myrna G. Ricote, whose presence added prestige and inspiration to the event.
At lunchtime, a joyful salo-salo was held across all grade levels, allowing families, visitors, and school personnel to share meals and stories together. After the lunch break, a pre-loved item selling activity was conducted, giving participants the opportunity to buy affordable items while promoting resourcefulness and community support.
The celebration continued in the afternoon with an exciting bingo activity participated in by students, parents, and invited guests, bringing laughter and excitement to the entire community.
The program concluded with heartfelt closing remarks from GPTA President Mr. Raymond A. Rioja, together with his co-officers, who actively supported and attended the celebration. He emphasized the importance of family partnership in nurturing learnersโ growth and success.
The school administration also extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to all the generous sponsors and donors whose support greatly contributed to the success of the celebration. Their kindness and generosity helped make the event more meaningful and memorable for the entire school community.
Indeed, Family Day 2026 was not just a celebration but a testament to the strong sense of unity and shared commitment of the Patria National High School community, truly living out the spirit of being one family.
