|LOOK| A.O. Floirendo National High School received 50 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙮 𝙠𝙞𝙩𝙨 from 𝐓𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐂𝐎, 𝐈𝐧𝐜. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐎𝐅 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 earlier this morning.

The donation was formally received by the school principal, Dr. Chonalyn C. Doctora, together with representatives from TADECO, Inc., teachers, and students.

The donated school supplies will be distributed to our Bulig student recipients, providing them with essential materials needed for their daily classroom activities and supporting their educational journey.

The entire school community is truly grateful for this act of kindness and generosity. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to TADECO, Inc. and the AOF Foundation for being our valued partners in nurturing the dreams and aspirations of our learners.

|LOOK| A.O. Floirendo National High School conducted a 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 for all grade levels from Grade 7-12 to welcome learners and familiarize them with the school's policies, guidelines, and expectations.

During the orientation, students were reminded of important school rules, attendance requirements, proper grooming and dress code, classroom and campus behavior, safety and disaster preparedness measures, anti-bullying policies, and the responsible use of gadgets and social media.

Learners were encouraged to uphold discipline, respect, responsibility, and academic integrity throughout the school year.

As we start a new and fresh school year, we look forward to a productive, safe, and successful year of learning.

|Highlights| A.O. Floirendo National High School successfully conducted its School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) on June 11, 2026, with the theme “𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞: 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐄𝐝 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐔𝐧𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐖 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠”.

The SLAC included discussions led by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗖. 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮, 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹, who provided updates on the latest DepEd issuances. 𝗠𝗮'𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗗. 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹, guided teachers through the unpacking of learning competencies and the preparation of the Budget of Work (BOW). 𝗠𝗮'𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗡. 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻, 𝗝𝗛𝗦 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱, also shared practical approaches to ILAW Lesson Planning to support effective classroom instruction.

Through this SLAC, teachers were equipped with updated knowledge, practical strategies, and renewed commitment to delivering quality education and the goals of the Department of Education.

|𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞| Yesterday, June 18, 2026, A.O. Floirendo National High School successfully conducted its participation in the 2𝐧𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥. The activity aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness, promote earthquake safety awareness, and ensure that all learners and personnel are ready to respond effectively during emergency situations.

The drill was spearheaded by our dedicated 𝗦𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗥𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗙. 𝗖𝗮ñ𝗲𝘁𝗲, with the active participation of school personnel, teachers, and students.

Participants strictly observed the prescribed earthquake drill procedures, including the use of hard hats, go bags, section banners, and first aid kits, while ensuring the safety of school facilities through proper shutdown of electrical equipment before evacuation.

We commend everyone for their cooperation, discipline, and commitment to building a safer and more disaster-resilient school community.

Let us continue to practice preparedness because safety begins with awareness and readiness.

As a powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake shook Southern Mindanao on a Monday morning of June 8, 2026, AOFNHS students remained calm and immediately carried out the 𝑫𝒖𝒄𝒌, 𝑪𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒓𝒆 before proceeding to designated evacuation areas.

The strong tremor was felt throughout the AOFNHS campus, affecting learners, teachers, and staff on the first day of classes.

School DRRM Coordinator Sir Ryan F. Cañete, BSP Coordinator Sir Glenn D. Posas, the BSP members, Red Cross Youth volunteers and Teachers immediately responded, assisting in the orderly evacuation and ensuring the safety of everyone. Their swift and coordinated actions helped account for all individuals and ensured that no one was left behind.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the 𝐓𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐂𝐎 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 for their immediate response. Their presence provided much-needed assistance and reassurance during this challenging situation.

This event reminds us that earthquakes can occur without warning. Being prepared, informed, and ready to act can save lives. Let us continue to strengthen our culture of safety and preparedness for the protection of our students, teachers, staff, and the entire school community.

Due to the expected aftershocks from the recent 7.8 magnitude earthquake, Executive Order No. 51-2026 cannot yet be lifted. The CDRRMO and other relevant authorities have yet to determine when full government operations and face-to-face classes may safely resume in Panabo City. Further, our health and emergency response operations will continue to serve our people.

In the meantime, we advise private businesses to assess the integrity of their structures and implement necessary safety measures for the protection of both clients and employees.
