The Society of United Abilities of Davao del Norte State College successfully conducted PAKIGHIUSA: A Team Building Activity on Thursday, 19th day of February, at the OSDS Building, Testing Room.

True to its name, Pakighiusa—which means unity—the activity created a meaningful space for members to connect, collaborate, and strengthen their bond as one organization. Through engaging team-building exercises and shared experiences, participants enhanced their communication skills, built trust, and celebrated the power of teamwork.

More than just a gathering, the activity served as a reminder that unity is the foundation of success. By working hand in hand and embracing each other’s strengths, the Society of United Abilities continues to foster an inclusive community grounded in cooperation, respect, and shared purpose.

The meeting was presided over by 𝐒𝐔𝐀 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐉𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚, together with the Organization Adviser, and guided by dedicated officers who continue to uphold the organization’s mission of inclusivity and empowerment.

During the meeting, several important matters were thoroughly discussed, including the preparation and completion of activity designs for the upcoming semester, selection of the official activity plan, and the assignment of leadership roles for the first major event. Officers also reviewed and proposed amendments to the organization’s Constitution and By-Laws, focusing on membership expansion, screening processes, and strengthening accountability within the organization.

These efforts reflect the unwavering commitment of SUA to create meaningful programs, encourage student participation, and ensure that every planned activity upholds quality, relevance, and inclusivity.

Through these initiatives, the organization continues to promote unity, responsibility, and a supportive community where every member’s abilities are valued and celebrated.
