On March 5, 2025, DNSC Peer Facilitators Club President Rainier Pesaรฑa, together with the Council of Student Organizations (CSO) and DNSC Federal Student Government (FSG), visited the Panabo City History Gallery Exhibit at the Panabo City Multipurpose Gym. In celebration of the 25th Araw ng Panabo, the exhibit followed the theme โPANABO: Tracing our Roots, Enshrining our Identity,โ allowing student leaders to learn about the cityโs humble beginnings and its rich cultural heritage.
This activity is deeply connected to the mission of the Peer Facilitators Club, as understanding one's "roots" is essential to building a strong sense of identity and belonging. By learning about the city's history, the club gains a better perspective on the community they serve, helping them provide more empathetic and culturally aware support to their fellow students. For the Peer Facis, honoring the past is a way to better understand the present and foster a more connected, resilient student body.
