Strengthening Teaching Practices Through SLAC

Rizal Elementary School successfully conducted a School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) on Innovative Teaching Practices Across Learning Areas, aimed at enriching teachers’ instructional strategies and strengthening their commitment to meaningful, learner-centered education.

The session featured insightful sharing from our resource speakers—Ferlyn C. Depra, Garden Lyn S. Arriesgado, Melody G. Baylon, and Marilou C. Mier—who shared innovative and practical approaches in GMRC, Filipino, Science, and Mathematics. The discussions highlighted values and character formation, effective literacy practices, laboratory skills and classroom applications, and the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) approach in Mathematics.

More than gaining new strategies, the activity provided teachers with opportunities to learn from one another, reflect on their practices, and discover better ways to engage and inspire every learner.

Together, we continue to learn, grow, and innovate—because better teaching begins with teachers who never stop learning.

RIZAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL KICKS OFF TEACHERS’ MONTH 2026!

A meaningful celebration of gratitude and appreciation officially began at Rizal Elementary School as we kicked off Teachers’ Month 2026 during our Flag Ceremony on September 1, 2026. 🇵🇭👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

The celebration became even more special as our dear learners expressed their love and appreciation for their teachers through simple yet heartfelt tokens of gratitude. 🎁💐

These thoughtful gestures remind us that behind every lesson, every word of encouragement, and every moment of patience is a teacher who continues to make a difference in the lives of learners.

Rizal ES Learners Stand United Against Bullying! 💙

Rizal Elementary School successfully conducted an Anti-Bullying Symposium for all Grade 4–6 learners, promoting awareness, kindness, respect, and a safe learning environment for everyone.

The symposium was made more meaningful through the insightful and engaging discussion led by our speaker, Ms. Glady C. Noel, Project Development Officer I / Division LRP Focal, who shared important reminders on recognizing bullying, responding appropriately, and becoming an upstander.

Our learners were encouraged to Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be an Upstander, and Be Responsible—values that can help create a school community where everyone feels safe, valued, and respected.

Let us continue to stand together and speak up against bullying. Because stopping bullying starts with each one of us. 💙

Rizal Elementary School acknowledges the concerns circulating on social media regarding a reported learner-related incident.

The school takes all concerns involving learner 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆, 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 seriously and does not tolerate bullying or harassment.

The school has made 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲. The first conference did not proceed to substantive discussion, while the second conference was not attended by the parent who raised the complaint. The school has therefore exerted reasonable efforts to facilitate dialogue and resolution.

The school respectfully reminds everyone that 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀. We appeal to all concerned to refrain from spreading unverified information or making conclusions before all parties have been heard and the facts established.
