A book, once read, does not lose its value — it simply waits for the next pair of hands that needs it most.

The Office of the Federal Student Government proudly supports 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗚𝗔–𝗡𝗕𝗚𝗘𝗦, an initiative spearheaded by 𝗗𝗡𝗦𝗖 𝗚𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗢 aimed at bringing the joy and transformative power of reading to the young learners of 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗼 𝗕. 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹. This initiative stands as a profound reflection of the Federal Student Government's steadfast dedication to service — one that transcends the boundaries of campus life and extends its reach into the very heart of the community.

Through the Book Donation Drive, the FSG calls on every DNSCian to part with something small in exchange for something immeasurable. Donated 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀, 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀, 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀, 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀, 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 — however well-worn — do not lose their worth. In the hands of a young learner at Narcisso B. Galapin Elementary School, they cease to be remnants of a finished chapter and become the foundation of one yet to be written.

On September 17, 2026, the DNSC Federal Student Government successfully held the second annual legislative training for student leaders from different LSGs and PBOs. With the theme "All Aboard the Bill-board: Navigating the Seas of Student Legislation Towards New Horizons," this year's training focused on honing the participants' parliamentary knowledge, equipping them with the necessary information, understanding, and skills needed to effectively navigate through student legislation.

Through the substantial lecture delivered by our guest speakers, Atty. Florabelle Cagay Sagot and former FSG Vice President Joanna Bernadette M. Tubo, student legislators were guided and trained in the essential principles and processes of parliamentary procedure, legal writing, and effective deliberation. Their insights and expertise provided the participants with a deeper understanding of their roles and responsibilities as student representatives.

The training also served as a meaningful avenue for student leaders to exchange ideas, strengthen their commitment to responsible leadership, and develop the confidence to advocate for the needs and welfare of the student body. As they continue their journey in student governance, the participants are now better prepared to uphold transparency, accountability, and purposeful legislation within their respective organizations.

An Act also known as the “FSG Alumni Benefits and Privileges Act,” recognizes the service and contributions of former Federal Student Government officers by providing them with benefits and privileges during FSG-led activities. It seeks to strengthen the continued connection between the Federal Student Government and its former officers beyond their respective terms of service.

The Act grants qualified FSG alumni officers the privilege of entering the campus during FSG-led activities, subject to existing institutional and security policies. It also provides each qualified alumni officer with at least one complimentary ticket to FSG-led activities that require admission through tickets, as a form of recognition for their service and tenure.

Student Government Act No. 031 establishes eligibility and verification procedures to ensure that the benefits are granted to qualified former officers. It also provides safeguards against the fraudulent use, transfer, sale, or misuse of the privileges, with violations resulting in the forfeiture of benefits and possible disqualification from future FSG alumni privileges.
