Internet cafes in the City of Panabo are reminded to follow Sec. 4 of City Ordinance No. 05-15 (An Ordinance Prescribing Guidelines and Regulations on the Operation and Services of Internet Cafe in Panabo City and Other Purposes) which states two (out of 15) provisions:

"4.3 Internet Cafe establishments should not allow students to stay in the premises of the establishment during their class hour unless for specific educational purposes such as data research or statistical gathering.

4.4 Internet Cafe establishments shall not offer online and network gaming services during class hours to students and/ or minors"

Violators of this Ordinance shall be subjected to the following penalties:

1. A fine of P1,000 for the first offense and/or 5-day suspension of business operation

2. A fine of P3,000 for the second offense and/or two weeks suspension of business operation.

3. A fine of P5,000 and/or revocation of business permit by the Mayor for the third offense.

Formal complaints to the PNP, Department of Education-Panabo City Division, and the Local Government Unit will be entertained to enforce the law. A copy of the ordinance can be requested at the Office of the Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlungsod, 3rd Floor, City Hall.

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 25, s.2018, Classes for School Year 2018-2019 will start on June 4, 2018 (Monday) and will end on April 5, 2019 (Friday).

PUBLIC ADVISORY

Enrollment for School Year 2018-2019 will be on May 21-25, 2018. For transferees, bring your Progress Report Card and a photocopy of your Certificate of Live Birth.
