Launching of "The EngLISHventurers Club"

The EngLISHventurers Club is a fun and inclusive space where learners embark on thrilling language adventures! From word games and storytelling quests to writing labs and viewing missions, members explore the English language in ways that are enjoyable, interactive, and connected to real life. The club supports the goals of LITERASAYA by making literacy fun, relevant, and empowering.

To foster joyful, meaningful, and skill-building experiences in English across all literacy domains—aligned with the LITERASAYA goal of “Literacy na Masaya!”—by engaging learners in creative reading, writing, speaking, viewing, and listening activities that promote confidence, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning.

Sa araw na ito 129 taon ang nakararaaan, binitay sa pammagitan ng pagbaril si Jose Rizal sa Bagumbayan (kilala ngayon bilang Liwasang Rizal Luneta). Pinaratangan ng mga Espanyol si Rizal bilang diwa ng Himagsikan laban sa pamahalaang kolonyal.

Bilang pag-alaala sa kaniya at sa mga Pilipinong nagbuwis ng buhay sa landas ng paglaya, itinalaga ni Pangulong Emilio Aguinaldo ang ika-30 ng Disyembre bilang pista opisyal at pambansang araw ng pagluluksa.

Magkakaroon ng pag-aalay ng bulaklak sa puntod ni Rizal sa Pambansang Bantayog ni Jose Rizal, Liwasang Rizal Luneta, Maynila. Magkakaroon din ng lektura at art workshop sa NHCP Museo ni Jose Rizal Fort Santiago (Dambanang Jose Rizal Fort Santiago) sa Intramuros, Maynila.
