Empowering Lives Through Second Chances ✨

On April 8, 2026, at the ARF Gym, the ALS Teachers of Panabo City successfully conducted an Advocacy on Social Mobilization (AdSocMob) with 74 Parole and Probation clients, under the Livelihood and Education Access Program (LEAP) of the Davao Province Parole and Probation Office No. 2.

The activity was conducted under the ALS program “Balik-Aral para sa Subok-Laya,” which aims to encourage participants to return to learning, rebuild their confidence, and take meaningful steps toward a better future. It highlighted the importance of education as a powerful tool for personal transformation and successful reintegration into society. 💙

Through initiatives like this, opportunities for hope, growth, and new beginnings continue to be made accessible to all.

The Alternative Learning System – Panabo South District 1 successfully conducted a Tree Planting and Caring Activity on March 6, 2026 at Riverside, Purok 1–2, Brgy. Maduao, Panabo City, Davao del Norte.

This activity highlights the importance of civic engagement and environmental stewardship, encouraging ALS learners and community members to actively participate in protecting and caring for our environment for the benefit of future generations.

This meaningful initiative was made possible in partnership with CENRO, with the support of the Barangay Council headed by Barangay Captain Nilo D. Lizada, and with the support of the City Government of Panabo under the leadership of Mayor Jose E. Relampagos.

Our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this activity. Together, we plant hope and protect our environment. 💚🌿

Guided by the empowering sub-theme, “𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬, 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬!”, we draw inspiration from the strength, wisdom, and leadership of the Babaylans—pre-colonial Filipina leaders who served as healers, educators, and community pillars. Their legacy reminds us that leadership rooted in compassion, courage, integrity, and inclusivity transforms communities and shapes a better future.

As an education community, we commit to:

• Strengthening programs that protect learners and personnel from all forms of discrimination and violence;
